Trying to figure out what lift I need

I have done some searching. Heck I may not have searched correctly, but I'm not sure what I'm after. We recently purchased a brand new jeep unlimited freedom edition in the copper brown color. I've been looking at moto metal 962 and fuel mavericks. Both in a 18x10 wheel. Now the questions:
Can I run 35s on just a level? Or is that more a 33" kind of deal?
If I lift 2.5" using either the rubicon express or teraflex kit can I run 35s? Not sure I even want to run that big of a tire but just kicking my options around.
Thanks in advance

With a 2.5 inch lift, you can run 35s.

Or you can run flat fenders and run 35s without a lift.

You want wheel with 4.5 inches of backspace.

Thanks. I'm not sure I'm a flat fender guy yet lol. So 33" with level and 35" with 2.5" lift. Those wheels have a 4.56 offset so I should be fine. After reading, will I need an exhaust spacer with that lift? It won't go offroad unless it's hunting or whatever but that's just mud. No rocks or anything here.

My JK is a 2010. So, I'm not sure if you need an exhaust spacer or not. I have a 2.5 inch teraflex lift with 35s and have had no problems.

Ok guys. Recently sold some stuff so in ready to start buying. I have 3.21 gear ratio. Will 33" be better than the 35"? Some stuff I have read people didn't notice but some people say it's awful. I daily drive and don't go offroad minus fishing or whatever. I may do a leveling kit and 33" tires to save me some mpg and still have some power

You can run 33s with stock fenders and no lift. It fits fine. 35s you can run with a BB or lift.

I went big and have 4.75 inches of lift with 33s. It looks beastly.
