trying to lift and mod wrangler in Europe...NEED HELP FROM THE STATES!!! PLZ

Hi,

so as the title implies, i'm from Europe and i am trying to lift and add 35's to my 4-door 2012 sahara. The issue is that here in eastern Europe modding wranglers is extremely uncommon so i can't find any parts, and absolutely everything will be ordered from the States, 3 inch mopar lift kit, wheel spacers and 35's. Since i am a noob and this is my first wrangler, i would greatly appreciate the advice on re-gearing. I am seeing that many who switch to 35's re-gear their wranglers. Is this a must? Note, i do have the CRD (diesel) which has a lot more torque then the 3.6 l most are running in the States, 460 nm or 340 ft lbs to be precise and an auto with 2.7:1 gearing. Do you guys think that i can run the lift and 35's with stock gearing??

Thanks.

I ran a lift and 35s on the 3.8 with no regear. I bet you'd be fine with the CRD.

You should be fine. However, drive it for a few months before you try to re-gear. You may find that you do not need that. I have the 3.6 with 35s (2-door auto) and I do want to regear but I live in the mountains at 6,000 feet. Wheeling is done from 7,000-12,000. Flatlanders usually don't re-gear with 35s and the Pentastar. With the diesel, I suspect you will not feel the need.
