Tube Doors-Help me Decide

I am looking at getting new tube doors. I have it narrowed down to 2 choices. Anyone have any strong feedback on one or the other?

Bestop HighRock Element

Bestop

Body Armor Gen II Trail Doors

Amazon.com: Body Armor 4x4 JK-6135Black - Steel Front Trail Doors 2007-2013 JK Jeep Wrangler (Pair): Automotive

Let me know what you think

I have the Body Armor Trail Doors (just bought them before the Gen IIs came out, story of my life), and they are solid. They fit perfect and do not rattle.

I also plan on getting the mirriros that attach to the doors.

Thanks, do you know what the difference is between the ones you have and the Gen II's? In the write ups I can't tell what the differences might be

The Body Armor are my favorite. I don't know what the difference is between 1st and 2nd generation.

Not to derail the thread, but you should look into getting some foam pipe padding for those netting. Put it on the tub door, and then attach the netting over it. It will make it a bit more taut.

But to the OP, I'm think the Gen IIs have adjustable hinges.

I have the Bestop HighRock Element. You can add the enclosure kit. Plus hey have limit straps to prevent the door hitting the body when open.

Body Armor all the way! Just installed them and love them! Gen II have adjustable hinges as previously mentioned. Gen I apparently had alignment issues.

Are those also the Body Armor mirrors you have?

I just ordered some Body Armor doors. I opted not to get their mirrors as I heard the quality is not all that. My question, can other mirrors be mounted to the BA doors?
Such as this one?

Thanks for all the responses. I ended up going with the Body Armor Gen II doors. I got the rears on Monday and the front set should arrive tomorrow. Great quality doors and the back set fits great with no rattles at all.

I also go a great price on them, not sure if I can mention the retailer I got them from because they aren't a sponsor on here but they have retail locations as well as a website. They had them for $263 a set where everyone else has them listed for $351. If it is OK to mention them on here let me know or just PM me.

Ditto for the body armor trail doors. They look awesome. They fit great. I like the interior door latch. Kind of makes it not so obvious for just any moron to open the door and have free access to the interior. Gives a clean look too.

Yep, mirrors are body armor too. They work, but not highest quality. I'm happy with them in general.

If you do get a rattle, it could be where the latch connects to door frame. Just put some electrical tape on the ring where the latch connects, and voila, rattle alleviated. Congrats on your Body Armor doors!
