Just got this email from McGard, after inquiring how many different combinations there are in their door hinge locks, leading me to believe the answer might well be "1":

Thank you for inquiring about the Hinge Locks. However since it is a security item, our privacy dictates us from indulging in how many different combinations we offer. If you were interested in ordering a lock set you can call Customer Service at 800-444-5847 Monday to Friday 8 to 5 Eastern Time. Thank you.

Interesting.....I did order a pair off of Ebay as they may just be the best looking ones but I do hope there is more than 1 possible lock combination. In any case it's better than nothing! If someone reallly reallly wants the doors they will get them. Hopefully with the Viper alarm that I install it will really deter them.

Curious if the tuffy hinge locks will allow me to have a quick-release door -- just unlock and lift off. That'd be worth something, because I really don't want to have to attach the bolts every time I put the doors on. I'm getting half doors, and they're easy to steal... I just want a basic deterrent.

Having just finished assembly on a pair of recently purchased mopar half doors, I was just planning on disengaging the inside lock and locking from the outside after parking the jeep. I figure if someone wanted to steal them they can get in pretty easily through the soft top but they have to get through the door panel to unlock the door.....thoughts?.....dumbest idea ever?

Or you could put in a power lock kit with a remote, so you don't have to manually lock them each time. I'd just worry about driver/passenger safety after a crash. Opening a door is a lot quicker than unzipping a window, when your jeep is on fire...
