Turn Signal Problems

I have a 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X with just over 36K miles. My rear driver-side turn signal/brake light has stopped working. I checked the bulb and it's fine. I'm thinking multi-function switch. I stuck my head under the dash and noticed a wire unplugged - I'm not sure if it was unplugged before (an option I don't have) or if it has something to do with my problem. I looked around and can't see where they would plug in. It's 2 wires together in a black wire loom. Wires are Yellow/White and Black/White with a small plug on the end. I can get pictures if need be.

Just curious if anyone has any input. Or would go look under their steering column to see if those wires are hooked up on their Jeep.
