UConnect iTunes usage

I am having an issue with listening to my iTunes from my iPhone wirelessly over my uconnect system?radio. It was working fine until a couple of months ago. I don't know if something has changes with my phone or the uconnect system??? Anyone else out there having the same issue?

I don't know if anything could have changed with your Uconnect, I'd think it was more the phone. Did you update recently?

I have an android, but my Wife has an iPhone, and i'm getting Uconnect installed in her wrangler. I do hope she will be able to stream her audio over BT!

What radio do you have? How is it not working? Have you tried resetting the phone? I have to reset mine a couple times a month for different things. Hold the home & power buttons at the same time till the apple appears, then release them. The phone will reboot.

You should have no problems. The iPhone works well with Uconnect. When you do get it installed, check the main module to see if the PN ends in "AC". If it ends in "AB" as them to do the service update for the Uconnect system. TSB 08-019-12. This will give you all the current enhancements of uconnect.

My BT on my phone is working fine, recognizing the uconnect fine and I reset it at least once a day just because. I am miffed here, it worked for the longest time. When I would change between am/fm and bt, I would just automatically pick up my bt and the iTunes stored on my phone and of course i send and receive calls on uconnect no problem.

1) In a factory install system, the module is behind the HVAC control head.
2) In an aftermarket MOPAR kit install, the module will be below the glovebox strapped to the dash structure.
3) the PN's for 2011 & 2012 modules are also different.

Nope, there are several radios available from Jeep (Chrysler). Look on the lower right hand corner of the radio faceplate. You'll see a 3 digit code (EX: RES, REQ, RHB, RBZ, RHR etc)

RES. I think the problem is with the radio. Service update?? I am current with my phone. This is very frustrating, it was working fine and then it just stopped.

and for the MOPAR kit, drop the glovebox down and it should be right there. The module looks like the pictured below:

sure if you have a 200 or a Journey:

Uconnect Touch 8.4N(RB5)
If you have a 2011 Chrysler 300, Dodge Journey or Dodge Charger with Uconnect Touch 8.4N (sales code RB5) or Uconnect Touch 8.4 (sales code RE2) your radio maybe eligible for a FREE software upgrade. This upgrade adds the ability to browse songs, utilize existing playlists and use the shuffle feature when certain Apple products are connected through the remote USB port.

Just fill in the last 8 digits of your VIN below to begin the qualification pr
