Uconnect Security

So I just found a Sahara with a huge price cut down to my buying range. I jumped on it and threw my down payment at it. Now, I don't live in the hood but I'm def not in Mayberry. Some first mods I'm planning are hood and gas locks (off topic but recommendations on these?).

Real question: should I be worried about the uconnect? I'm planning to be doorless and topless as much as possible, but am thinking about a passerby getting interested in the nav. Do I just cross my fingers and lower my deductible?

Last, stupid question but I'm guessing that its a gremlin nav system- doesn't like water? so just hope I don't have the top down during a shower? I know there's quite a bit here but any help is appreciated!!!

Ok I will start until the pros arrive. What year did you purchase. After 11 they are antitheft radios it says so on the front and you need a 4 digit code to unlock it if removed and installed in a another vehicle. Uconnect security is in the back of the radio so at that point they will have your dash apart. I think that they would be interested in other items before disassembling your dash. just my .02
