Ugly plastic door trim on 2-door black JK X

Hey all. All of my mods up until now have revolved around getting rid of the ugly fading plastic on my jeep (bumpers, fenders). I put on some textured black tubular bumpers and chopped my fenders/painted them black.

The only thing left is this:

I apologize for the funhouse mirror effect on my legs. I only just noticed that now And despite what it looks like, I was not naked when I took the picture.

This trim seems to include the mechanism that allows the soft-top to clip in. I tried to find a thread about this but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have a link to a mod that gets rid of this?

Also, chopped my fenders and was wondering if anyone had a good LED conversion kit for the side marker lights so I can stay DOT legal. Also, conversion kit for the 9145 fog lights so I can find an enclosure to bolt some new fog/driving lights onto my new bumper.

Thanks for the info. I have no interest in getting hard top, so I guess it has to stay. Maybe I'll just sand it down and paint it like the fenders.

Plasti dip

But... The 2 large hand bolts above the door and they remove easily.
Hinged so they can be folded and thrown I'm the back when not In use

Right. With the top down though you should be able to remove it easily until you want to put the top back up. That's commonly done.

Remove this knob on the top
(Jeep / MOPAR are dumb. You should be able to take these off and use it for the hard top in the sound bar. I guess that makes too much sense ... )

Here is my Jeep with the surrounds off (to put the hard top on)

They fold
