Uh-Oh, electrical gremlin in my 2012 JKU?

Three times now the traction control light has come on when it (seemingly) shouldn't have.

(1) Driving down a country road at about 55mph. Well paved road.
(2) Driving down the alley from our garage to the road at like 5(?) mph. Also paved.
(3) Driving in my dad's subdivision at like 20(?) mph. Perfect concrete, pretty much brand new.

In each case, there was no rain and the roads were spotless. Also in each case the JK was going pretty much straight. Is this a common problem and just one of those "glitches" you have to deal with or should I be on the lookout for headaches?

Thanks

I would have that looked at. Traction control problems can be very pricey to fix on your own so you definitely want it fixed under warranty. If nothing else you will have it documented so even if they don't find the problem now you may be able to get it fixed even after the warranty is expired.

my low tire pressure light came on the other night for no reason....pressures are 38 - 40 on every one. came on the next day too, but went away after a few miles. watching it very closely. surprised me. hopefully, it wont continue to be a problem.

Were you in the throttle quite a bit? These 2012s are pretty powerful!

I'd have it looked at. An electrical problem can be a horror story, deal with it now while under warranty.

I had a simiilar problem with the Brake and ESC error lights coming on at random times -- the last time was at 65 MPH with cruise control on. Took it to the dealer. I'm waiting on a new Brake Booster to be shipped and installed. Hope that fixes the problem.

I'd recommend taking yours in to the dealer to be checked out.

I had my esc light come on today too. Dry paved road, 40 mph. I guess if it's still on tomorrow I will take it in.

Hey, just a quick thanks to everyone for your help.

Turns out it was a faulty steering angle sensor. I had Columbus day off, so I took it in and they turned it around by that afternoon.
