I don't know about a vault or locker. I've got a Tuffy concealed carry box under the driver's seat in my 4-door (won't fit a 2-door), and a Tuffy security deck enclosure in the rear (different version for a 2-door).

See here:

I have the Bestop lock box under my seat, I like it and it's great for storing things like my Ipod or expensive things with my doors off. That being said it is quite narrow ( I don't remember the exact dimensions) but it is great for small high value items. It will rattle a little if you don't open it for a while, but a quick heel to the door will stop it or some people put extra rubber lining around the door to tighten the seal.

The Bestop wont fit 2011 and 2012 2 Drs with Slide and Tilt seats. If yours is older, it may work. Its a great product and very sturdy.

I should clarify: the Tuffy concealed carry box won't fit under 2-doors with the tip-and-slide seats (or whatever they're called...the ones with the bar in the way). I think it'll work on others.

+4 for bestop box. I installed mine and a week later installed the tuffy for my neighbor. I liked mine better than his and I paid half of what he did. And the bestop drawer comes prelined with soft material unlike the tuffy.

Of what? It's a box. Under the seat. Use your imagination.

I have the tilt and slide seats and couldn't use the underseat security box so opted for the tuffy security console insert instead. A little more expensive but a great product.

I've got the Tuffy for my 08 JK. After running around for a couple weeks with the key version, I ordered & installed the combo lock instead.

Box rates A+ even if it does cost twice the other choice.

Easy install but you'll need a breaker bar for the godzilla tight floor bolts.

reason why I got a jeep with limited options is because there are a people out there who don't respect what others have worked hard to obtain. all I have for them to take is the cheap stereo in my jeep...and if they get away with that...they are probably desperate and need it more than I. My advice is just to not keep anything of value in the jeep.

I had the same problem with the key at first. It gets better with time. Just make sure to push the key in all the way before turning.

Thanks! Also does your seat seem to be harder to move forward and back?

Its harder to grab the seat release since it sits on top of the lock box, but my seat does not touch the box at all.

Has anyone seen or am I thinking wrong...is there a locking storage box for the recess in the floor on the JKs? Anybody have one? Like? Dislike? I looked at a under seat storage yesterday but it won't work well with the '12 JKs and sliding seats. Or so I was told.....

There is a locking cover for the cubby hole Tuffy

I don't have one, but probably will some day. Tuffy products seem to be good quality. I've got the glovebox and underseat concealed carry drawer.

IDK but I don't think so. The guys @ Baseline said yes it will go in but the seat won't slide forward anymore for ease of access on both sides.

He was driving a fairly built '10 JKU got a feeling he knew what he was talking about.

When I asked about the storage box for the back end he said he thought so also, but hadn't seen one, but would be checking into getting one for me.

(Like dealing with people face to face.)

I was basically asking in this thread if anyone had one, thought I had read some posts about it, but the way my mind is, I could have been reading a "review" by some tester and filed it away as someone who actually had one.

Just knew I read it somewhere.

Mine did that too after a while. I sprayed a little WD40 in the lock mechanism and it's better than new.

I have the Bestop. I like it minus the rattle, otherwise I'd love it. Tried using foam pads but they just unstick after a while. If someone can show me a good solution with pics please post them.
