Underseat secure storage

I am looking for suggestions and feedback on under driver seat secure storage.
Prices and websites are also a plus.
Thank you

I have the Besttop security box that goes under the drivers seat. Got it on amazon. It rattles a little on rough roads, but other than that it's great.

Is yours a 14? I read somewhere, can't find it now, that the seats brackets are different on the '14 and the security boxes need to be modified.

Is it the box that rattles or the contents?

I finished some more research and it sounds like the Tuffy box is the better box.
I just ordered it from qtech. $121.89 delivered. I should have it this week.

I have an 07. The box door rattles a little. At first I just thought it was new rattle coming from the jeep then realized it was the box. Nothing the radio can't fix.

Do these work with the 13 and 14 seats. I swear i remember seeing something about the seats tipping mechanism not allowing these boxes.

I've got the Bestop box mounted in my 13 JKU. Only interference was from a bracket that holds a wiring harness, which was easily removed. Not sure if there would be an issue with a JK or not.

No, none of the underseat drawers will work with the 2 doors that have the fold and tumble seat (2011+)

I am a little confused. Are you referring to the fold and tumble rear seat? How would that affect the front seat storage box? I know my 09 JK had a lever that folded the passenger seat back forward and slid it forward as well to allow access to the rear seat. Is there a feature on the newer JK's that affects the driver's seat? You've got me curious now.

For the 2012's and beyond, there is a bar which stops the lock box from being installed.

Actually it's 2011, when the interior changed. And to detgolden's post above, I meant easy entry on the front seat, where it flips forward to allow easier entry to the back, I got my terms mixed up when I posted that. As Panther said, there is a bar under there for that new flip feature on the drivers seat that prevents the box from going in.

Yup, you are correct...+2011's on the interior change.

It will work on a 4 door JK not a 2 door. (Both are JK's). It's a shame because the Bestop box (no rattles whatsoever) is one of the best things I added to my 09. On the 14 we have to resort to a locking cover for the rear cubby. It works fine, just not as convenient.

I have the Bestop box under my dirvers seat and passenger seat in my 13 JKUS. Easy install and no rattles at all. I have seen the Tuffy as well and while I love Tuffy products I couldn't justify the extra $$$. I bought 2 Besttops for the price of one tuffy.

So I've went back and read the thread because I was having this issue finding the storage and y'all confirmed my assumptions. I'm a bit disappointed but it's whatever. So since I canny get the underseat storage in my 2 door JK what would you all suggest using for safe storage?

I had both Bestops in my 2010. Pulled them when I traded. Now I cant use them in the 2013 since I have a 2 door.I was going to try to change the seat base since I loved mine so much but I cant get anyone who knows if the jku seat bracket will work in my jk. Plus from what I saw its like $150 for each seat.

SO I got this:
Amazon.com: GunVault NV200 NanoVault with Key Lock, Fits Full Size 1911 Style Pistols: Home Improvement

$25 and it still works even if its not the big box...

I also use a GunVault. I have the micro and it works great. It can be easily moved between vehicles as needed. It slides right up under the front seat from the back and never pushes forward into my feet. Great fit in a Wrangler.

As I haven't looked into the 2 door, is it something that could be mounted facing the back in under the seat and still fit? Just a thought...

Just installed the Bestop under seat lock box. Easy install. Holds my wheel lock, 45, wallet and cell phone.

Replace the drawer slides in your Bestop and you can actually open it all the way to get your stuff out easily...

I take my pistol with me, so I mounted a kydex holster in the armrest.

I do use a $20.00 gunvault nano under the seat for my wallet, etc if I go to the beach.

Amazon.com: GunVault NV200 NanoVault with Key Lock, Fits Full Size 1911 Style Pistols: Home Improvement The price is jacked up for some reason. It's usually $20 something.
