Unlimited hard top storage...

Does anybody know if the hard top is stored up on end, with proper precautions for the rear glass and wiper if it will warp...? I would assume so, and really don't want to risk it without some advice. If so has anyone used the Hoss storage dolly/ system? any thoughts? Thanks in advance...

I've pulled mine off, but never left it hanging for more than two weeks

To store a JK hardtop for extended periods, it should be stored and trussed in it's INSTALLED configuration, with steps taken to protect all the --installed gasket mating surfaces

These things leak enough as it is, so you shouldn't stress the mounting surfaces--it's not FIBERGLASS !!

We make a storage system that stores it on end. I would think it has more to do with proper support than it does with actual angle.

There are a set of do-it-yourself plans in an old thread on this forum. We took that & built a dolly for about $90 worth of stuff from Home Depot. Worked fine good, no problems with warping when stored over the warm months in Georgia.

If you want more info, use the forum search function to find that thread.
