Upgraded sliding arm rest

I recently purchased and installed a sliding arm rest for my 09.

For me, the stock location of center arm rest/console is to far back and to low. I thought about buying the tall pad that goes on top of the lid but that wouldn't have fixed the problem 100% because it would still have been further back than I would like. Then I stumbled across the new raised and sliding arm rest in the Quadratec catalog. I installed it last night and WOW what a huge, comfort, improvement something so simple as a sliding arm rest can make. Before, I rarely would put my arm on the center console because it was to far back and wasn't comfortable at all but now I can slide it forward to whatever position I want and I will now have a arm rest that is usable.

It's a very well built piece and actually provides some extra storage as well as you still have full function to the lid/console storage.

I purchased it from Quadratec but the Catalog said it's made by VDP.

For anyone that isn't happy with the location of the center factory arm rest you may want to take alook at this.

Is this is? That looks like a great idea. Thanks for sharing! I love the fact it gives you a little extra storage as well.

LOL beat you to it

My 09 is a 2dr so, as you can imagine, ANY extra storage is welcomed.

It's definately the easiest and best $79.99 mod I've ever done. It took me all of 5min to install.
