US Navy "Chief's Jeep" JK

Above is a little Chief Jeep I illustrated for my fellow CPO 4x4 freaks. Its based around my Jeep, with a few extra accessories including a ships bell, CPO anchor off road lights, CPO skull off road lights, CPO chevrons and hashmarks, tailhook, port and starboard lights, 50 cal machine gun, hood mounted CPO cutlass, anchor/chain/wire winch, Navy markings, USA and USN flags. Available as a coffee mug at: NavyChief.com: The "Chief's Jeep" Coffee Mug

I'm Retired USAF, but I can appreciate the effort none the less. Nice design and probably a great looking Coffee Mug too!

Looking good, Chief!

I've got a red "remove before flight" flag from a landing gear pin as my winch hook handle. Reminiscent of my days working on the flight deck. Brownshoe Navy, baby!!

Very nice and thanks for the website.

too bad there are no polo shirts available. Like to wear some of those to work, as I am currently working on an AFB!

Naturally, I like it.

I have been looking for red/green filters for my lights...

Haze Grey or Khaki would be great base colors, but nice to see it is a proper black color.

Like all shoes should be.

Only one question Chief, is it realistic to expect a hardcore badass Jeeper Chief to have gold stripes?

am I doing it right?? sadly It fell off on the last day of this trip and I have to acquire another.

since we have so many freakin CPO's in this forum, I guess I'll ask the question. How do you all feel about the initiations going away?

Reminds me that I really need to get my Gulf War vet license plate application started.

Regarding initiations......
I am not a Chief, so I will not even try to speak for them, but after all my years of serving with them, I truly doubt that initiation will go away, even if they officially 'go away.' The brotherhood of CPO's will not let that happen. Way too much respect and tradition involved.

And I like my brown shoes just fine...

All Chiefs have a natural gyro-stabilization to prevent Kkaki Tracks.... Part of the selection process.

I am not for them going away. It truly brought the brotherhood into the mess. As we were told, "You won't get this today but at some point you will understand why you are here and what is going on". About 6 months later I had one of those enlightening experiences where I reflected back on the intiation process to get through the problem. In fact, still do today.

I think big Navy has other issues to attend to first and should leave this alone.

Roger that brother. They need to leave the mess alone. I still can't believe it, absolutely devastating.
