valve stem

Just did a five tire rotation, and noticed that the spare's valve stem looks different than the others. My question is? Does the tpms valve stem look different? First pic was spare, second pic all the others..

Looks like the tire was rotated in the rim somehow. It should be straight.

Interesting....I need to check mine.

There is a difference in the size of the shoulder (unthreaded part) on the two stems...perhaps just different manufacturer designs? I'm sure more than one company makes valve stems for Jeep.

Maybe the rubber coating is pulled further down on the spare stem? It's hard to tell from the pics but they do indeed look different.

Found this online and it looks like it has that solid area on it.. I guess i need to have the dealer put one in since it did not have one when I bought it. This was for the Jeeps.

Hmmm..... so it may be a valve stem from another model Jeep? Are Wrangler stems different from the rest? I wonder if the different stem has a TPMS?
