So I dropped off my 2013 wrangler to change my oil, filter etc at the dealership. I also told them to look into why my vehicle veers slightly too the right when driving. Vehicle stayed overnight and then I picked it up yesterday afternoon. They tell me that nothing is wrong and that's basically the norm for a wrangler! Any thoughts?
I had the same issue and took it in twice. First they said the toe was off, but after it still pulled. Second time they said the total steer was off. It is a bit better now, but it still pulls. They say it is normal for straight axle vehicles, but funny enough I didn't have a pulling issue on my last Wrangler.
Today I don't notice it and have just learned to live with the pulling.
I didn't notice this 'problem' until I put bigger tires on. Alignments were fine. I asked here on the forum, and got many response as you did, normal for solid axle, especially with bigger tires. I didn't want to believe. But I drove and drove and drove and paid attention to the roads. Most roads have a 'crown' to them, that usually pitch to one side. The 'pull' always follows the pitch. There are a few spots around me were the 55mph road is dead flat, and she tracks straight in those spots.
Should not pull to either side on flat roads. Dealers, in my experience, do poor alignment jobs. If you really want it fixed take it to a tire/alignment shop with a good reputation. Alignments are not rocket science but you need to find someone who cares enough to do the job right.
mine pulls/leans slightly to the right and I have to keep the steering wheel turned slightly to the left to keep it straight.
I really wanted it fixed so I took it to a tire/alignment shop with a good reputation. The toe was slightly off and they adjusted it, and it still did it. I took it to my (high-end/very reputable) Jeep shop where they confirmed the alignment was fine. They adjusted the steering wheel a bit, but it still does it. They concluded that alignments are not rock science, but some Jeep do that..

I don't know how true this is but I was told once that all vehicles are designed to pull "slightly" to the right as a safety feature. That way if you fall asleep at the wheel you go off the road to the right only killing yourself and your occupants instead of veering into oncoming traffic and killing other drivers too.
With that being said, mine pulls a bit to the right too. It became more pronounced when I got large tires then I just put some FLCAs on and it was a little worse. I adjusted steering wheel with the drag link and it was better but still pulls to the right a bit. That all changes whenever I rotate tires though...sometimes pulls more, less, or to the left. Chalk it up to a "Jeep thing".
Same here.
Tire pressure over 36 pads make it pull to the right.
I keep it at 35.
Good to go.
