Viair Unit Saved Me! (camping trip) pics

Hey everyone,

This was too funny not to mention, I take my girlfriend camping. She doesnt like to camp, so i bought her a queen sized air mattress to talk her into it.

I expected the air mattress to come with its own pump. WRONG. We got to the middle of nowhere and she's taking it out of the box and asks me where the pump is. I replied "it has to be in there" Nope. She brings me the box that states pump not included. UGH!

Not to worry, Popped the hood and there's my Viair ADA unit in glistening silver and brass. Linked it up and stuck the end in the air mattress.

Problem solved. Blew up a queen sized 18 inch thick mattress without issue.

Haha. Nice man! This was exactly me a few years back. I was trying to blow up a new mattress and my ARB OBA saved me.

My lady still doesn't like to go camping. Eventhough, I purchased the Rolls Royce of camping gear.

My suggestion, if she isn't a new g/f, get rid of her now.

Air mattress? On a camping trip? Does not compute...

Ill tell you, this little compressor more than paid for itself that day. It was a 3 hour drive out there, and there was no possibility of getting back to civilization to buy a pump.

If I had put her back in the car, we would have driven home.

Niiiice! I've been recently looking into these. What is better Viair ADA or ARBs? Or does it matter?

I obviously like the viair unit, it sits on the break booster, super easy in an otherwise difficult to fit engine bay.

I dont know where the ARB goes.
