vinyl wrap inside hardtop

I hate the white inside of the hardtop! It just looks horrible and I know there are some kits out there that provide insulation and sound dampening but that is not what im looking for they are to pricy. Just wondering what you think about just adding some vinyl matte black to the inside. Probably just order some off of ebay and slap it on what you guys think? And what if anything have you done to the inside of your hardtop?

P.S. Jimbox has a sweet interior hardtop

Vinyl can be a pain to apply smoothly. Go to an upholstery/fabric store and get something you like and a couple of cans of spray glue. Instant custom top.

That's actually a pretty rad idea, do you think the 'dust' from people writing on it alot would damage the interior cloth???

I used duplicolor spray on bedliner to paint mine black.. I am very pleased with the result. It took me about 8 hrs of prep work and paint time... I used 6 cans of paint

I know of a guy that lined his hardtop with shag carpet. Yeah that's right shag carpet.

After installing a mesh sun top on mine,,, I noticed that the inside looks alot better.

Also the bed liner paint would be pretty sweet too.

White really drwas attention to the top... Black blends in really nice.
