Viper throttle body for JK

Can anyone give me some feed Bach on putting a dodge viper t/b on my 2010 JK 3.8 auto, stock gears with 31" tires. Is it worth it?? I'm looking for a bit more power and are there any draw backs??

The 3.8L is a dog. Nothing you bolt on will help. I think your best bet would be a tuner, Superchips Flashpaq. BTW what gear ratio do you have and transmission type? Might consider 4.88, that way you'd be ready for 33's or 35's in the future.

a ld not givou more power. the only thing putting a larger tb does is increase air flow. meaning you would have a better throttle response.

Unless you have bigger injectors and a custom tune for that and the throttle body you will see no gains only better throttle response.
It should also be noted that they have had issues running the Viper Throttle body with aftermarket programmers.

but what i was trying to say is a tb will not give you more power.
