Warning-epic logo attached!!!

Has anyone ever seen reference to this Jeep? I am interested only in the WRANGLER logo and stripe across the Moab hood. I have scoured the interwebs and can't find out who makes it or where it came from.

Car Photos: Jeep Wranger with Great Modifications

Sorry, don't know how to post.....

Any help appreciated.

Expect to not be able to afford it. They are not inexpensive for most of us.

Stickers and vinyls are normally pretty cheap. Drive 50 miles less in one week and you can likely afford one.

You all seem to be missing the point. Let's put the price of the Jeep aside. As for the snarky comments, I can, in fact, afford it as I am buying 2 Rubicons for cash.

I am asking if anyone knows where I can get the hood decal. Can't find info on it, and have called a couple of decal makers and they say that they could not replicate it.

Don't take this the wrong way, as I'm not trying to be a sarcastic asshat.... but, in the description on your initial link, it mentions that the hood is an aftermarket aev heat reduction hood.... see link http://www.aev-conversions.com/shop/...tion-hood.html

If you're looking for just a decal, the most I've found is by searching "jk black out hood decal", but it doesn't look like that hood.

Hope that helps!

No offense taken......Love the AEV hood. Will try Googling the black out. Thanks

Starwood Motors - the company that does the custom conversions on that Jeep paint the Jeep with a Kevlar paint, sort of like a bed liner. that design on the hood is painted on with the Kevlar paint.

I'm going to go ahead and take a dumbass point for my initial answer... now that I've re-read what you're looking for. Smh.

Sorry, even the search I suggested isn't going to help.

Have you tried calling starwood? I think the other guy is right though (now that I realize what you're talking about).... I think they customize that on when they kevlar coat the jeep.

I just sent an email to Starwood asking about where they get the decal/logo. I hope that they respond, as I am not a buyer. Thanks for all the info and suggestions. Interestingly, PixieDecals said that there equipment could not do anything that large, even in pieces.

keep checking with decal makers. I had a buddy do something very similar with a business here in fort worth. I have a vinyl machine but it would be in 3 pieces because a machine that could cut something that big would be tens of thousands. the machine we have a work will cut 4 foot wide graphics and cost $3000. it is a lot of trial and error too. one screw up and you just wasted a 6x6 sheet of vinyl.

Solid. I'll bet a phone call might work if you don't get a response.

On closer inspection, it does not seem to be a decal, unless they put some type of clear coat over the Line-X that they have applied. It would seem to have the same characteristics as the Line-X itself. Which may be what they have done. Can't imagine what the cost is to do the Line-X AND add a clear coat as well. Will find out when I reach them.

$3K?? Wow, that is amazing. From one who does not know what goes in to decals and sizes, vinyl must be very expensive.

Thanks to all who have added here.

pixeldecals.com is a popular place to get custom decals done. Can't say whether or not they could do it, but worth a try maybe ?

I would have to agree with you that it looks like it's part of the kevlar paint scheme and not decaled on afterwards.

These guys do really big decals. They're located in Hutchinson Ks. I don't know if this helps.

My wife got her car wrapped for her business by 360wraps. They've done boats, buses, trailers, even the Traxxas dulley truck which is a very sick truck btw. Give them a call. They also train other shops on how to wrap so they should know their stuff.

That looks like its silkscreened or even digitally printed onto the hood - the hood looks textured too so i have doubts its vinyl. it could be cut in sections fairly easily though for a regular hood, just installation would need to be very precise.

Tried PixelD first, along with a couple of others. No go--too big.

I ended up calling our new forum brother Camo at the place that does the Jeeps for Starwood. Also sent an email and PM. Hoping to get an answer, as I am quite curious. I am also interested in learning more about the process that they use for the liner.

No, but I am getting the Jeeps that I am buying in Houston. I did put in a call to CamoLiner in Denton, as they are the company that did the rig that I showed in the earlier link that I posted. Will let you know how it goes...And thanks.
