Water in driver footwell - RHD vehicle 2011 JKU

I have noticed a wet carpet on the drivers side under the mat. You don't notice it until you take mat out as it is rubber lined underneath. We have had no rain recently so it is not a leak. I called the workshop foreman of my local dealer and he tells me the aircon drain has the tendency to drain back into the car on a long drive. I had driven 500km just before I noticed the wet carpet. He said that the drain hose is not long enough and the condensate can 'blow back' into the car. I got underneath and had a look and the only drain hose i can see is on the passenger side (remember this is a RHD vehicle).

Anyone else have this problem? If so did they fix it by adding a piece onto the end of the drain hose?

I've noticed this a couple of times under my front passenger side mat and only under the mat. I think it is just condensation. The last time I noticed it I lifted the carpet and it was dry underneath. The floor was pretty warm though but the top of the mat was cool. So I think it is caused by the difference in temp and the mat having a rubber bottom.

Possible! Volkswagens are very popular for that. Since the damn germans can't make a proper functioning vehicle. But, I've seen a few other vehicle do that. Not on a jeep yet. But it is possible.
