Water in the jack storage area. Holes in the hardtop!

Seems like I'm not alone. So I start looking into this, first the back window seals, tailgate seals; the usual suspects. No dice. Then I find this after hosing down the top:

Duh?!

A closer look at my hardtop reveals holes:

Using a hose I confirmed this is where the water comes in and drips in the back area making it's way to the jack compartment. I also used canned air:

RTV to the rescue. Anyone else with these holes?

Dont try and fix it yourself. Take it to the dealership and get it documented. Just my opinion but you are ultimately hurting yourself if you try and repair it. It may come to a point you need the ammunition to get it fixed right and those dealer service reports will help you.

I have this document. This only covers seals (check the diagnostic tree, page ii).

Not worth the hassle for a 5 minute fix
