Is your leaking at the stitched seams or at the seals where the top meets the frame?

I have a 2013 2 door that when it rains the the seams at the sails and the top seam above the back window leak. The white backing is completley soaked.

The dealer replaced he firs top under warranty. The second top did the same thing. I took it back to the dealer while it was still raining the second time.

Myself and the service manager looked at an 07 they had in for service and the top was not leaking. The white backing on the stitched was thicker and heavier.

We then went to a 2014 that just came off the transport. The carpet in the rear was soaked. it was leaking from the same areas as mine.

The regional mamager was contacted. He opned a case to be submitted to the Chrysler Engineers. Hopefully they come up with a resolution soon.

We dont get much rain in Arizona...but I feel sorry for folks in Seattle!

Well, the dealer call me and told me that they did not find anything bad on the seals, the only thing that they do was reinstall the top panels the correct way, they said that they were wrong, for which I told them that the last person that remove that panels were them in the last visit to the warranty visit, they said the they tested and was not leaking, I do not believe that crap, let see what happen in the next rain.

I have the same leaks in your first 2 pictures...one on the passenger side and the one that rains onto the radio. The radio leak appears to be fixed after a second seal replacement. Hasn't rained in a bit, so not 100% sure yet.

The passenger side is still leaking after a new door seal and adjustment. I had them take off the pillar trim so I can try to see exactly where the water is coming in and then go from there.

The first time I took it in they gave me a bunch of BS about fixing it, but they lied. Second time I emailed the leak guide and said I wouldn't pick it up unless they followed all the steps for the particular leak. So far, so good on the radio. Check out the document and take it in with you.

Also, if they ever get the passenger side fixed, please please report back what actually fixes it!

Bummer, the file is too big to add, or I can't figure it out?! Anyone else have it in smaller form, or PM me and I'll send it to you.

Do this. Report back. Stop taking it to the dealer. They will only make it worse.

Don't want leaks? Read this thread....

Move to the desert. Less rain, less worry.
