Check the sealing gasket around tghe fram of the door sometimes that falls off...just snap it back into the track...otherwise check the hardtop where it seals to make sure its done securley

Bottom front corner of the door is a common spot.

Have someone shine a flashlight from outside the Jeep around the door edge and look for light coming through. If light comes through so does water.

If that doesn't work drive through a carwash and watch in awe as the water pours in.

In the end you may be able to fix it you may not.
You dealer may help, they may not.
Some Wranglers leak, some don't. Water is very good at finding ways in.

I've fixed 3 out of 5 leaks in mine and thats as good as I could get.
I wouldn't fret it too much.
Fix the big one's buy some Shamwows for the little ones.

So spend something in the range of 25k-35k for a new vehicle and then accept the fact that it leaks? Not a damn chance.

If mine leaks, I'm going to raise hell at the dealership and try to get them to fix it. Then, if they can't, I'm going to go to home depot and try to fix it myself with varying uses of weatherstripping. I'll probably post on here a few times looking for suggestions too.

Then, if all that doesn't work, yes, I'll buy a shamwow and accept it. I might even take it as a sign that I should pull the carpets and just bedline the interior.
There, I fixed it for you.

There are a lot of people who feel this way. Out of the box, the jeep shouldn't leak, especially with a hard top. You could go the route that I did and spend a whole lot of time at the dealer. They bought it back. The new one leaked in the same place but they fixed it after two attempts and hasn't leaked in 3 years...well sort of. Now that three years has gone by, if it leaks a lot, oh well, the rugs are gonna come out and it will be bedlined eventually. It is all relative. If it was leaking right out of the box, and there is still little mileage on it, make sure you get documentation every visit to the dealer. It is your only chance for correction down the road if it can't be fixed. I can tell you that the chances of Chrysler buying it back are slim and nill unless the problem has been chronic since day one AND you documented it on THEIR invoices.
