Well, I got the left side doors off at least!

The right side would not budge. The previous owner must have had them off becasue ther were no nuts on the bottom of the door hinges, but I tried everything short of banging out the left side doors with a hammer and pick. The left side doors came right out with no problem whatsoever.

Awesome! I hope you get the right side loose soon; how frustrating Once you get it, you'll have such fun. We love the top down / doors off on our 4door

That's a bummer. I hope you can get the other ones off soon, it's such a fun time driving without them.

Thats easy to fix, just get people who like doors off to sit on the left side and then people who like doors on to sit on the right side

I bought a 2000 TJ that had never had the doors off in 9 years. Ended up shooting PB Blaster on the hindge pins twice a day for several days. Then used a large pair of chanel locks (rubber coates handles) and pried up on the hindge side of the doors while working the doors open and close. After I got them off I coated the pins and rings with White Lithium Grease and have never had a problem since.

That's what we had to do on our YJ. I was afraid to do it, haha, and ran to my Dad for help

Make sure you're turning the nuts the right way.... I've read that maybe it's the opposite way you'd logically think to turn them.... (or not, who knows, sometimes my mind does crazy things...)

I sprayed mine with PB blaster for a couple days, then CAREFULLY put pressure on the bottom of the door with a Hi-Lift while wiggling it at the top. Worked really well. ( Just put a rag on the bottom to cushion it )
