Well it finnaly happened...

I was at a friends place and it started raining... pretty hard.

Top on doors off...
We go out and there is 3" of standing water on the floor in the front of my Jeep. Carpet soaked. We drained the water out via the drain plugs.

Next day I got the carpet all pulled out. Wasnt that hard, let it dry in the sun, and threw the front two peices (The wettest ones) into the dryer.

Once they were all dry I put them back into the Jeep.
I Smelled them first and didn't smell anything. So I'm guessing I dont have to worry about mildew stuff. Yay

The seats were still kinda wet, but not very. I have the leather seats.

I tried to dry everything off with a bath towl.

Is there anything I should watch out for? Or do that I havn't done already?
Also during this ordeal since my friend needed to barrow my jack I had to pull out the little tray where you st ore the door bolts.... that doesnt hold them in very well. So No im missing one of those. Come to think of it in the future I'll be storiyng my door bolts on the doors.

No smell and everything works, I would think you are good to go. This happened to me a couple weeks ago for the first time. Did what you did, but I left the top and doors off and never had a smell. A carpet cleaning friend told me once that if you start getting a smell after a small clean water leak, spray the top and bottom of the carpet with Lysol and it will kill the mildew.

once the seats fully dry up, consider putting some conditioner back on them. other than that you should be good. leave the carpets out and get some husky liners or something. it will definitely happen again
