I love the color....It's black in the shade, it's green in direct sun...no it's black again at night....shine headlights on it and it's green again...

I get a lot of comments from folks..I think it's a cool color, it's definitely different.

My man bought a BFG JK. My parents had only seen pictures of it on Facebook. They were surprised when I told them it was green. They were pretty positive it was black.

My Charcoal pearl looks dark green at dawn and dusk. Grey and rainy it looks black and bright sun it looks dark grey(Charcoal)

The body shop like to never got the tint right when doing my AEV heat reduction hood. Alll the paint suppliers had red tint for the code listed for Dr Charcoal pearl while mine has a green tint. They had to order a tinting CD from Chrysler and have a tinting specialist, custom tint the paint.

Drove the wife's JKU to school/work today. Everyone thought it was black until they got close to it.

Thanks, but it's a line I lifted from an awesome TV program that I've enjoyed for many years now called, "The Venture Brothers". I don't know if they lifted it, but I thought it was a great expression myself.

Almost went with the green. I like it a lot. Main reason I went with black is easier paint touch up as it gets battle scars. The green is sweet though!

Who comes up with these color names and why?
I would just call it 2012 black or 2009 black based on the model year. Black, Orange, White, Silver, Green, and Off the Wall color

He said that because you aren't making any sense. Which is why someone else posted "I dare you to make less sense".

Your thread title is "Where's the black? Just forest green", but then you comment that
"...for the most part it's black..."

Which is why everyone is confused at your thinking. Hope this helps!
