Wet Back-side (help)

Need help on this one, folks.

Everytime I wash my 2007 Jeep, water always goes inside the back door and seeps into the secret compartment under the trunk and collects in there.

The top is on correctly and tight, but I can't stop the water from going in there everytime, no matter how carefull I am. It seems to go between the top and door.

Does this happen to anyone else and what can I do to stop the water from getting in there?

HELP!!

Yes just once, the metal track that you slide on the rear glass is upside down. When it is on right the rubber seal at the corners should point down. E-mail me and I can send you a picture.

I can't help my self but laugh at the title for some reason!

Anyway...

It's a soft top like the one in your picture? Do the JK' soft tops have a little piece of plastic that tucks into a slot like with TJ's?

At the bottom of the back glass (so called) it has a metal bar w/ a seal on the bottom and a grove in the middle. If you slide the glass in w/ the bar upside down it looks right but will leak. Just remove it and rotate 180 degrees and the rubber seal should hang down below the fabric and at the corners you should see the rubber point down. Then it is right.

I know, it is plastic but they refer to it as the back glass. I guess you missed the part where it said ( so called) I am just trying to help. I will try to be clearer next time!

Just like a New Yorker to be picky!
