What about 2013 models

Ok, since I have to wait until mid Jan to order Gecko.....and you can start ordering 2013 models early June..... What is new for 2013? I think I would wait if there is a really good reason.

I hear the 2013's will come with a personal masseuse, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, and a 7-speed auto tranny that has interchangeable gearing from 4.10 to 5.38.

Don't know if it's true or not...

Lol

Great... Now we are going to start seeing this ---

"I traded my 11 for a 12, how much more money will I throw in the can if I trade the 12 for a 13?"

" why? Because I want the diesel. The 3.8 and 3.6 are junk car engines"

Come to think of it, what ever happened to the two speed axles of old and in the Jeep's case, you'd need one in the front also. Although these days you could probably do it in the tranny just like you jokingly stated.
Sure would be a popular option and for on/off road use, especially.

Funny as it is I wonder how funny the people who bought 2011 GC's would view it considering the 2012 GC price cut of $3000. Just sayin'

If they're putting diesels in them in europe now and not in the us.. they're even less likely to have them in 2013

They will be about $4000 dollars cheaper....
the bumper will be changing along with the wheels and hood. they will be using the AEV bumpers, wheels and hood as stock parts. Rumor has it a 2", 4" and 6'" inch lifts will be listed as options along with tire sizes 32, 33, 35, and 37.... the gears have been covered by kbwwolf.

It's gonna have the Pentastar v2.0. 350 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. 29mpg. Runs on the tears of those who didn't wait to order it.

That "Apocalypse" edition sounds sweet, but I have some questions:

1. How much is it if I use my TL discount?
2. How big of a tire can I put on with stock rims and no lift?
3. Will a soft top from a '12 fit it?
4. Which oil will be best in it...synthetic or dino?

oh, and will I still have to wave at folks who drive normal Jeeps if I'm driving one of these?

I just want to know two things:

How high is the ground clearance compared to TJ measured in hogsheads?

Will it come with scratches on the axles that will wreck my entire Jeep experience...you know...because of the scratches...on the axles.

I'm thinking some little bean counter at Fiat will change it to IFS to remove the possibility of law suits from death wobbles actually resulting in a death.

Also removes the scratches on the front axles!! Though I didnt have that problem, there was too much rust to see any scratches
