Possibly a rear "interior" carriage rack on a jku. You can't get a soft top down all the way but you can still see fine. If you get one though don't bother buying a boot for it. Just bungie the puppy down.
I didn't see it mentioned...exactly......but close a couple times, but IMO nothing PLASTIC that is s'posed to "protect" a part on your Jeep...corner protectors, light guards, hood protectors etc. IDK maybe it does work but for what they cost, seems pricey, first time they do their job probably trashed and most likely Jeep part is broken any way.
Seeing a nice lifted Jeep roll by all decked out with nice rims and tires....until....BOOM! What the heck is with the donut on the rear tire carrier! If you are going to spend the coin, go all the way. It just bums me out.
I'm thinking the OP wasn't really asking about opinions on cosmetic mods, but it's just too easy to jump on the bandwagon.
So I say, dear God please don't put these on your jeep.
The two mods I wouldn't do again:
Polyfil the soundbar & the kicker factory speaker upgrade. The problem is the headunit (even if the speakers are pretty cheaply made)

This rings a bell with me -- I used to be more of an audiophile. I put a $3K sound system in my last vehicle and transferred it to my Jeep when I got it. It sounds great, but now I want a soft top and would be paranoid about it getting stolen.
I'm half tempted to rip it all out and sell it for cheap. I'll probably leave it all in there when I get the soft top though. If it all gets stolen, It will almost be a relief. :banghead:
Black rims are on the top of the list. Growing up on a farm, we painted all the steel wheels black on the implements. Black rims on a nice vehicle just make the vehicle look like a piece of crap not worth taking care of. This definately includes rockstars.
People wanting to lower a jeep are close behind the black rims.
Not a mod but a lot if them...... droping your jeep off at a shop, having a lot of work done that you don't even understand why some of it is being done, and then making your first post on a forum braging about how bad ass you think your jeep is defiantly something I would try to talk any of my friends out of.

Why?
Its there jeep, And this forum would not exist without them. Did you ever think maybe some people just like jeeps? I know I will never use my Jeep to its full potential and I could've basically had most any car I wanted but I love Jeeps and always have. I'm not looking to flame jmo
I'm going back to the nuts on trucks...I mean...I've always considered my cars female, if anything. Who wants to be washing, wrenching, basically getting your hands all over your rig that proudly has giant balls hanging off the back?! Personally, I'd rather be touching a female..
So, if you're a girl, maybe I could see them having nuts on their vehicle....or if you're a gay fella...then it seems more appropriate. Anyway..has always struck me as odd.
Avoid any kit that has an Extender or Adapter of any kind. Instead of Adapting something to work do it right the first time. They are always a bolt on piece that will come loose under serious use. If you have to have it weld them on so you don't have to rely on the bolts.
There is a JKU running around here with gold plated emblems and accents, mixed with chrome wheels. The darn thing looks like a 1990 circa Lexus LS400 driven by a colorblind elderly woman.
Out and about on a nice day in chicago. Just saw a white 2012-2013 Sahara JKU with at least 22inch white rims and white and tan custom leather interior. Jeep looked as if it had no suspension and just riding on the tires. :nonono:
First and foremost, the kids in my neighborhood LOVE my Zombie Defense Vehicle sticker!
Having said that, Jeeps are a form of folk art. If you're doing something to increase your enjoyment, then go for it. Except truck nuts. For heavens sake, no truck nuts.
