i got my jeep in Dec. its a 2012 JK sport. i wanted Yellow but everyone talked me out of the color so it was down to White or Black. and i went with Black. because in the end i was the better price and the dealership could find one with the things I wanted on it like hard top only and side steps. it was tough finding it in NY for somereason.
i love the black only think i think it needs or might do is get black rims but for now its pretty sweet. i do wonder if white would have been better but oh well black is cool. my next jeep in 3 -5 years will be white or silver or yellow. so its cool to start out as my frist ever jeep in Black
When I decided on a Wrangler, I wanted a '13 in True Blue but none of the dealers around here had any with the connectivity group so I got a sweet deal on a black '12 with it. After 4 silver cars, any other color works for me (except white).
My three year old son loves the original Pink Panther series that he watches on Netflix. His favorite colour is now pink. Needless to say I am very happy that Jeeps are not available in pink!
I am sure he will like our Commando Green when it arrives!
Love this jeep. That blacked out look with the Cosmos blue is sweet. I never thought about that color, but seeing your ride makes me wish I would have got Cosmos. I do like my Commando Green, but not as much now.:banghead:
I ordered Crush. My tj was black, my truck is black, 3 Harley's in the garage are black. Wanted something different waiting for it to come in was killing me that I made the wrong choice. It took a few days after I got it to realize I made the right decision. I'm happy.
I ordered Commando Green, before ever actually seeing the color. Then I saw all the photos on this site while mine was being built and I was very concerned because the color looked different in every photo. Then I got to see a 2dr at the dealership, prior to my 4dr arriving, and I loved it. Very happy with the color.
I always wanted a jeep. A guy had one down the street from me when I was a kid. I thought he was so cool. Now that I could afford to have two vehicles I bought my jeep. Since getting my jeep I have not driven my acura tl anymore. The jeep is so much more fun to drive. My acura is now for sale! What was I thinking?
Very first thought was Flame Red. Almost took a Black when I was first looking. Almost took a white also. When I got home with the Red three weeks after first looking I was a little worried that I picked the wrong color. But now that it has been three months I know without a doubt that I have MY color.
I did covet owners that got the Commando Green...the Billet and the Dark Cherry Red...but only for the first weeks that they were out or that I first saw them. Then the "color of the month" feeling wears off and I am so glad I have the Flame Red. Right now the Anvil looks good to me....but I know it will not for long.
To tell you the truth...there is not one color Jeep that I dislike....but Flame Red is my desert island choice.

greg, no hard feelings. to be honest, i am jealous you have your white jku in hand, im still waiting for production. enjoy, esp for those of us who are stuck here in waiting room status.
White JKU and love it. Doesn't show normal dirt but really shows off the mud... For when I want her to look dirty. Also gives a nice neutral background to build off of. For me that is a white base with black and yellow mods.
I was on the fence for ages between Crush and Dozer. I eventually ordered Dozer.
When I came to pick it up, the dealer had ordered me a Crush. My absolute first thought upon laying eyes on it was, "Holy cow, that's a fabulous looking Jeep!" My _second_ thought was, "Hang on a minute, that's not Dozer..."
After I spent a few minutes getting over the shock, I realized I was already in love with Crush and went with it. Don't regret it one iota. Crush rocks!
I admit I used to hate orange vehicles, but they really have grown on me since they're very individualistic. Plus, the black trim on most wranglers really looks good with crush.
I went Metallic Silver. No complaints with the color, shines up really nice and the black and silver scheme fits me. Easy to keep clean and doesn't show dirt too badly.
I will never get another black car, too hard to keep clean. Black looks great for the 10 minutes after the wash, after that all bets are off. I really wanted the Black Green Pearl but decided that it was too similar to black. The last couple of cars I had were white, kinda boring so I was happy that I found the Jk with the options I wanted in something else.
2012 Deep Cherry Red JK Unlimited Altitude with the All Black Wheels and absolutely love the color choice. Just wish I could wiggle the keys out of my wife's hand, I don't get to drive it too much.
Sounds like me, I really liked the gecko. Drove crush and black. Saw the gecko on the lot with matching rims. Told the salesman if he took those off I'd take it. We took it home the next day. Love she color
I got one of the last Bright Silver JKs ever made, and I love it. Nice and neutral, but not boring. Not that I've ever seen a boring Jeep, but still...
