I will go say Hi later, just found the forum figured why not, I can help with some mechanical things, but electronics, hey do not listen to me, your horn will go off when you turn on the lights. Lol!
So what did they do?? I purchased a new 2010 Wrangler and it did not have A/C so the dealership put in an aftermarket A/C to keep me happy, by Air Pro Company. Well first hot day around 80 it did not work. It would blow cool air for about two minutes than go hot and that was it. I put the gauges on the jeep and the charge was good, but I figured they just dumped the freon in there with no evacuation and moisture in the system was freezing up the evaporator. So I pulled a vacuum overnight and recharged the system, same thing.
Took it to the dealer and they told me , nope found nothing wrong, but ya know one learns by thinking back, the engine fan was not coming on when the A/C was turned on. I should have caught that right off, but did not, in any event, it now comes on as soon as you turn the A/C on and it will freeze you out of the vehicle. Good A/C unit, better than stock actually, can you say ice cold??
So what was keeping the fan from running?? What tells the fan to run , is this controlled by the ECU on aftermarket, some pin plug they left unplugged or something??
And got a recall, some suspension bolts gonna fall out, I checked them all, anyone know what ones for sure they are taking about. No time to go to dealer, mess around, get a ride, go back to the dealer and so on. So I just checked them all.
