NP, I'm sure when I get around to working with decals I will find some cool stuff ... for the moment I'm working on actual performance though

This is the final product. Sorry the pics aren't that great, I couldn't put it back on until after the sun went down. These are about the bet I could do. All in all it was a really easy mod that looks great and will protect the AC and radiator. I think I am going to go with matte black trim for all the details from this point forward.

I changed my rear brake pads and parking brake shoes. Cleaned everything up and got them working again, parking brake that is.

Front pads tomorrow.

Installed my Drake hood hold downs. The supplied nuts were crap...had to use other hardware. Looks great installed though. Also bought a Chrome Eagle Globe and Anchor to affix to my Jeep...just deciding on location.

texasdave; where in TX are you? I'm new to Boerne and looking for trails.

Today I also found time to install a yella rubber golf ball to my just installed "full length" antenna. I had cut my antenna down to about 14" so it wouldn't hit the driving light but I lost reception heading to work and back. I drive away from town.

texasdave, here is my Ruged Ridge replacement mirrors that I leave on all the time.

I've thought about those, just too much on and off for me.

Desert Mt's

Took an off-road near-expert out with me into the desert Mt's (Henderson NV). Pushed the new Rubicon to it's limits for first time. We both could not believe what it could do straight off the shelf with NO MODS! I LOVE my new Rubicon. Traded in a 2011 Jaguar XK-R CP for it (pulled equity I had out) and I miss her but love the trade-up.

Got the hard top off and the spiderweb shade on. Wow, that thing is a PITA to get the rear corners on when you follow their directions to loop the bungee under the rear seat belt bracket on the JKU.

I gave Plasti-Dip'n a try for the first time. I found a great deal on a 2008 Sahara a couple of weeks ago - fully loaded, only 21,180 miles on it. The only things I didn't like were the faux chrome overlays on the side mirrors and handles. Took care of those yesterday. I am happy with my first try at Plasti-Dip'n. The wheels will be next.

He did mention they get paid "per trip" and that the "good money is made in replacing a windshield, and since a Jeep is so easy due to no molding" he'd be done in no time. He just sounded like he had no intention of repairing it,but I could be wrong. Whatever. I went to a local company and got it replaced for $434. I could have paid about half that and got an '11 model year glass, but didn't.
We don't have glass insurance here lol, well we do but no body gets it, just tried to upload my pic but it say its too big, I have a golfball size shattered hole right dead center of mine, cracked all the way both ways down an inch and over 8, int the bottom left corner it's cracked up 6" and over 5" lol took a rock off a low boy trailer coming the other way at 110 km/h, scared the crap out of me

Had a god awful scrapping noise and discover it coming from the rr hub asembly , cleaned out what I could it's still there. Gonna take my brake off, take the drum off and see if cleaning that out gets rid of it
