I installed my "The Source" 10 lb CO2 system. For now it is just zip tied to rollbar to make sure I like the placement. System seems to have the same capability of a power tank for 1/2 the cost for the open box model I bought. Does not readily appear that components are made in China.

Took the top and doors off since the triple digit temps are over. Also encountered an odd drizzle on the freeway, not sure if it counts as popping the rain cherry. More like 3rd base.

Just got back from vacation. Took the wife and the Jeep to the Smoky Mountains. Took every "off road" trail I could find. Parsons Branch, Rich Mntn Rd, heintooga Rd...the one I really wanted to do, Balsam Mountain Rd was closed for "government budget cuts." Got her as muddy as I could, though. Then a few stream crossings washed most of it off. The best one is Parsons Branch Rd. Its 11 miles, one way, up and down. Pretty steep in a few spots and some big ravines if you look down. Definitely can't be driven in a car... need a little ground clearance in a few spots.

if you don't like the silver bumpers they are covers that can be removed. i didn't realize that until recently so i don't know how common knowledge it is.

Sadly enough in just over 13 months I rolled past the 30,000 mile mark on the way to work today. I drive way too much. Enjoying every mile though, whether on the road, mall crawling or wheeling it in the mountains around Vegas!

Either way the tanks are usually Catalina or lux for so aside of neck size they are the same.
Grab handle is current and regulator is pretty solid on the power tank.
However co2 doesn't read in pressure but weight and the pressure stays a solid 800 for it full or aalmost empty.
It runs out just like that when its empty so the psi on power tank is more for looks....with your bottle empty then full so yo know where its fill is....

Btw nice setup Co2 kicks but super fast and seats beads perfect on trail.

AntennaX installed this morning.

Now at the Audio shop getting new speakers all around and amp. Alpine S series including tweets.

Hopefully will be happy with the sound in the JKU. Can't wait for it to be finished. The only thing I was unhappy with on my new rig after I drive it off the lot was the audio....

I've had my '07 2 door for almost a week. This is silly but I read so many posts about the fragile shift boot bezel I had to examine mine. Noticed it was loose on the passenger side and tested the drivers side ever so gently. It came off with the slightest touch! So I drilled and re mounted it with stainless hex cap screws. Next mission is to put a real horn under the hood and start saving my mad money for on board air.
