Seat Covers

I think for a 5 week old "Jeep" with only 536 miles on Her I may be "Addicted"!

I ordered some very high priced seat covers from Quadratec:

Wet Okole Neoprene Jeep Seat Covers. - Quadratec

Although they are 100% waterproof...

They look good. Stinks that the site won't let you choose from some of the older color JKs to see what the covers would look like in them.

I went ahead installed a set of Alpine seperates up front to go with my Polk Audio's in the back. The biggest differance is the upgraded tweeters, HUGe differance. Otherwise a bit better. Without upgrading the Amp and Sub it's as good as it's gonna get. I'm satisfied.

Just changed my oil at 850 miles, in the sunlight it looked like glitter in the oil from all of the metal! I certainly don't regret changing it now. New oil is Mobil1 5w-30. I love that I'll never have to pay for an oil change again....and that's coming from a girl

Finally did my 3rd brake light mod. Like the look and the view out the rearview much better!

Just noticed that the pics make it look not quite centered, but it is. The holes on the brackets are offset.

Washed both of them after the trail yesterday and finally named my Rubicon; Harley Quinn. Now i just have to work on adding more red to her besides my shock boots. Planning on doing the vents and door handles soon and ordered name decals and a couple decals of Harley to put on the sides. Figured that name worked since I was going for Red and Black accents anyways, and since the Wife's Jeep is named Poison Ivy what goes better with that than Harley Quinn?

Thanks for the reply, I put them on and couldn't help my self to some dirty places on the way home from the shop yesterday. They are definitely the meanest tire I've run from a looks stand point. I had the KM2s before these and liked those too very much. I think these roll a little smoother on the road despite having a little deeper tread depth and width than the KM2s. That's what my butt-o-meter tells me any way.

Installed ACE fender flares on the front:

Also re-installed stock coil isolators on the rear and installed some washers on my front sway bar linkage. Pretty productive day overall, but I still need to do my Grade 8 bolt install and the rear fender flares.

Your butt-o-meter might not be lying. Mine definitely has a slightly rougher ride than his does. But he's also rolling with Teraflex lift while I'm rolling the Mopar one made by RE. The difference isn't huge, but it is there.

What I did to my Jeep Today...

I hit exactly 2000 miles, and flooded the interior, and buried it in the mud.

It is after all a Jeep. Don't want it to get used to a life of leisure too early in life...

Really like those flares. How much for a set and what size KM2s are you running in the pics?

Isn't that sub on the rear door gonna rattle the crap out of it?
Or is it designed to be installed against thin sheet metal?

None at all. Rubber washers and tapping screws.

Took her out for trail ride #2 in 2 weeks (was pretty proud of myself) and flipped 2000 miles in a little over a month, this coming from a 10,000 mile a year driver (used to be) haha I find any excuse to take my Jeep Oh and got to go wheeling with a 59 Willy that has been on the cover of a 4Wheeling magazine, he had the magazine with him I think the headline was "From Beater to Better". I took some pics the first my daughter snapped while making it up the trail the second is the awesome Willy (first one I've gotten to meet and man it was nice)

Rugged Ridge quick release sideview mirrors and did my first oil change with a Mopar filter and put in M-1 5W-30. After filling it, I realized the bottle said it was the "high mileage" formulation....I've only got 6500 miles on the jeep....but whatever. It'll be fine for the next 5000 miles...then I'll get a used oil analysis to see how it holds up.
