New socks and new sneakers! Seriously, Black Gear wheels (17s) and Mickey Thompson AT's (35s). 3" leveling kit. We didn't make it on time to have the alignment done, so, it sits for tonight. Man, this ride is going to be sweet!!

Installed my "Hidden Hitch" receiver on the JKU "X" today. All went well, I taped out the threaded holes and run a die over the bolt threads (1/2-13) before I started. I also inspected the frame and found a Weld on both sides that needed to be ground off. Nothin major, just a small area.
I had to drop my muffler down from the two rubber muffler hangers in order to get the bolts in.
I ordered the "Hidden Hitch" # 12015 03 07 from Quadratec, Has a Sticker on it, "MADE IN USA" !! Got the Wire Harness too.
I also installed two Master Craft Grab handles for the rear seat....

Just prepare yourself to potentially be late no matter where you're going. I swear I end up in a conversation about my gecko no matter where I take it. Hubby and I swapped Jeeps today so he could go get my alarm activated while I was at work. He said he had about 6 salesman, multiple customers, and even the sales manager come outside to check out what I'd done to her so far. Something about this color, she just seems to draw everyone in.

PS: The sales manager also found it quite funny that I still have temp plates on and she's already got desert pinstriping.

Hey G, tell your husband that after I saw your Jeep and how great it looked, I had to dive in! My wife has not seen it yet...so I'm curious as to what she may say!! I'll let you know when she sees it!!

Got my quote/wife's permission for my EVO 44mags/c-gussets and EVO control arm skids (front & rear) and ARB diff covers. Should be done in the next few weeks!

I know i didnt "do" anything, but its a start! And since I will not be home for 2 weeks, I can live with that!

Got my side windows tinted 20% to match the Bestop tinted windows I ordered for my soft top. Bestop lists them as 31% but according to my eyes and my tint shop, that's not even close. Lol. Not sure if it has something to do with the fact that they are plastic and not glass, but they sure seem like 20%. It all looks great now. It's kinda like my Jeep is wearing dark sunglasses when the soft top is up

Thanks I'm hoping I never run out of stuff to do, still contemplating the stubby bumper. Reading around here gives me great ideas, and I've been happy with every pointer I've taken!

These are a one and two days old respectively:

Installed hood wranglers and while the hood latches were apart I painted them with spray on Bedliner. Also sprayed my new Vector UFO's and installed them.

Yesterday I installed my Dynomax Ultraflow exhaust and have to track down a rattle. I think I popped some welds on the heat shield beating up the stock pipe trying to break it free of the rust.

Just ordered my UFO's yesterday. They are offering 20% off over at JK-F if you post your fav swimsuit shot. Believe they are offering it to JKO members as well. Tomorrow is last day to receive the code.

Got up and went to work for 6am. On the ride to work I suddenly did not feel like working. I pulled over, called in sick and went home. Took the top and doors off and went for a nice long ride. Sunny day + topless and doorless jeep = great time!
