Then, this past, Jeep was Sherpa on the White Rim as we rode it on bikes.

Just saw about your accident. So sorry this happened to you!

Being sore this AM is better that what it could have been. As someone else stated, Jeeps can be replaced...people can't.

Hopes and prayers from a continued recovery and I hope your pain subsides quickly! Hang in there!

Thanks!

It does have a 1" TF spacer in front and Poison Spyder 1.5" wheel spacers. The tires are 285-70-17.

Lemon pledge? I know I'm new to Jeeps, but I'm surprised to hear that. Is pledge better than other protectants?

I got the LEDs from autozone an i just stuck them to part of the frame in the footwell. I do need to wire them better though as of now they are wired into the 12 V outlet in the dash. But the way have them wear no they also do shut off when I turn the car off so I guess it is nice

I heard about it here. I use Simple Green to clean up the plastic and then Lemon Pledge over the top. Year old, still looks better than when I brought it home. Don't know if blocks UV rays, but so far so good.

Having recently recovered from a broken collarbone I feel your pain. It's a long road back. Expect to do NOTHING for about 6 to 8 weeks just to get bone union started. Unless it's a very simple fracture then it would go quicker. Even when you can move it, don't.

My Dr had me chewing Tums as much as I could to get more calcium into me. And smoking delays the process if you're so inclined. I found that out after enjoying a cigar a day on my front porch...

It'll be well over a year before you're doing push-ups or chin-ups, but by year 2 all you'll have as a reminder is possible ghost "throbbing" but it will have full strength and mobility.

Either way take it easy for longer than you would think. Bone union can't be rushed so go with it. Good to hear you're still with us!

I would worry about your Dr. Tums is a waste of time. You need D3 as a precursor to absorb calcium. There are other whole food supplements that would help. Didn't mean to hijack the thread. Just get frustrated with docs that don't know what they are recommending.

Update! Finally applied the tuner to the jeep last Saturday, ran through a tank of fuel this week and just topped off.

I don't notice any difference in the way it drives but I am getting 14.0 mpg, up from 13.3 mpg before the tune. I haven't done any highway miles with it yet but I'm hoping for some improvement there as well.

Have you verified that your speedometer is accurate? I had to run my pro cal a couple of times and finally got my speed to match my portable GPS and it made a big difference on shift performance. I am also up to 15-16 city / 18-19 hwy using cruise control as much as possible.

Actually, I did not realize just running the new program would make a difference with the speedo! I'll have to look into that, thanks for the heads up!

If you were adjusting for a new tire size it will need to be programmed for the new diameter. Good luck!

Just saw you post in the CAI thread, my previous comment is probably off base. I thought you referring to reprogramming for a new lift and tire size. Sorry!

License Plate Delete

I've had the Teraflex Hinged Carrier installed for awhile. It always bugged me having 2 places for a license plate so I finally took the stock bracket off and moved my plate to the Teraflex rear light bracket.
Lucked out with a local paint shop - They already had my color mixed up for another job and only charged me a few bucks to paint the Mopar license plate plug.

Put on my TX flag decals I ordered from Pixiedecals.com. Took some time to get, but went on easily without creating air bubbles.

Do you remeber what the part number was or what they were called? There are multiple entries for interior LED lights on Autozone's website!
