Talking

Had tints done yesterday. 20's to even out the front. They have a slight blue hue but I can't post pics because I am using a Windows Phone and there isn't an app for this forum. Hey mods can you pretty please oblige me with a WF app? I promise to post on topic.....most of the time LOL.

Before you ask I had IPCW tails before the Recons. Now I have two different tamper resistant screws per light. I figured you don't mess with the lights often so once they're in, they're in. LED's last longer than bulbs and thankfully my lights have been problem free since the install about 8-9 months ago. One screw is a real pain to get out even with the proper tool. I like that.
what kind of tamper resistant screws are you referring to? I think I want to do this...anything to make it at least that much more difficult for some a&@ hole to steal my stuff!!!!

I ordered mine here.

Be sure to get the bit as well so that you can remove the screw if needed. I got two different patterns and two different bits. A pain yes but the peace of mind is priceless.

Just got the confirmation email that my Hothead Liners were delivered. In typical fashion the weather is going to drop and snowfall is possible over the next few days.

OK, officially did it yesterday, but without pics, it didn't happen, and took pics today.

Plasti dipped the wheels and installed Rancho RS9000XL's all around.

I didn't want to go with plain black plasti dip. Also didn't want flat, so I decided to try the True Metalic Anthracite (dark gray) with a couple of coats of the glossifier to give it a satin finish (not gloss). I've promised myself that I'm not buying the new wheels and tires until this rubber wears out, so this should pacify me until then (driving these tires as hard as I can in the meantime).

Looks good. I told myself the same thing about new tires and wheels. Now that set is sitting in my shed with about 60% tread left thanks to this forum.

Just ordered a license plate relocation kit from Full Metal Fabworks (http://www.fullmetalfabworks.com/#!solution-plate/c1y0d). Was looking for an option that didn't have the company's logo cut in and on display.

Great experience talking with Andrew. I look forward to the kit and ordering bumpers from them soon!

Attached a stock pic of the relocation kit. Will post after I move mine.

Actually close to stock. I have the Teraflex leveling kit, so 1" in rear and 2" in front. Stock coils.

So far I feel that they are giving better feedback driving on the road. I'm running at 3 all around now. I'm going to play with the adjustments over the next few weeks and will post back.

I'll leave the spare at home for the day to day drive. If i take it on trails or off road I'll throw it in the back.

Thanks, Got it at dipyourcar.com

They have many exclusive colors and have come out with pearlized, metalics, etc.

It's amazing what they're doing with this stuff.

Skid Row engine and transmission skid plates went on fine yesterday.
Only smacked myself in the bridge of the nose with a sledge hammer once, thank you.

Waiting for the Allied Rock-a-thons to arrive tomorrow.

Those should be 200+ carefully torqued bolts of fun to install. I only plan on snapping 2.

Good point about the lighting in there. The guy was nice enough to send me pics during the process. It definitely looks great in natural light. My rear fender wells were sprayed as well. Not in that pic obviously

That will be the second thing I do once I receive my Jeep. First thing - rip out the back seat.
Where did you source the flat panel? Fab one up?
