Those are good looking seat covers! Do they make a cover for the babyseat?

Lol

I was a little concerned and I asked DT about them. Told me they don't usually have issues and BF's quality control is pretty good.
Plus, if I have any issues the tires can be replaced for free.

This is a good thing because I don't need 5 now and saved some $$

That sucks. Have a generater in the garage that was bought in 2000 and never used. Got it from the BF's dad.

I did a search online using "JK Garage Door opener" and it took me to an old thread on another forum site. It was very easy to say the least. I bought two momentary switches from Radio Shack for a few bucks. Then you take apart the remote and touch a wire to any combination of the 4 posts that connect to the button. Once you find the two that activate the door you solder a wire to each that will go to the momentary switch. Then choose the area of the dash you want to install them. I thought the easiest panel to take off was the one under the steering wheel. Velcroed my remotes to the back of that panel and drilled two holes in the panel for the switches. Prob took 20 minutes per switch. Here's a pic and sorry for the poor quality. Something scratched the lens on my iPhone.

Went wheelin' with some forum members to Uwharrie. I had to cut out early to go play a show, but I had an amazing time and learned a lot about some of our fellow jeepers:

Here's a few pics:

(Mattr)
I learned that Matt is not only in the Army, but he is brave and talented enough to be in Special Forces. Thank you so much for your service to our country! Here's a pic of him flexing his awesome JK ... great work on your Jeep bro!

(Moundman)
I learned that Josh has a gorgeous wife and a master mechanic for a son! You have a sick ride!

(In order from back to front | JeepsInDeep | Moundman | Mattr) Kernal Clink is out of the pic about 30 yards in front of the rest of the crew working on his YJ

I have video of Paul (Kernal Clink) hitting that rock on my iphone ... when I get a chance I will post it But I learned that he's a great trail guide and a completely down to earth dude!

I got a tic muddy ... not nearly enough for my taste but it was still fun!

Tonight I did my grill mod using the plastic gutter material rather than the mesh. To me the mesh looks cool but it seems flimsy. I also got started on plasti dipping the hinges on the doors and the hood. Only had time to do the front doors but this is going to look great when I'm done. Now the wait is on for Friday when this thing gets 3.5" of RE lift and 35" tres.

make sure u take the foam tape off of the zip tie blocks first...very important .... then scuff the area where each will be positioned on the grill as well as the back of the zip tie block with sand paper or scotch brite...apply high temp epoxy (found at home depot) and press the block onto the grill holding pressure for about thirty seconds...after applying all blocks use remaining epoxy to put beads around edges of the blocks until it is all gone. let it sit for a few hours before putting the zip ties through and putting pressure on them.. did this with mine and I haven't had a single one fail....i tested one to see how strong it was and I pryed the hell out it by hand and it held...I'm sure I could break it loose if I REALLY wanted but damn they are holding well.

I think next weekend or even maybe tomorrow I will have to get more glue and redue it. I didnt do all that. Only thing I did do was take the foam backing off but no sanding or using the extra around the edge. Ughh I really dont want to redo it cuz it takes forever...booooo.

Hey, did you leave your wheels on or take them off? I'll be faced with the same dilemma because there's not one day I'll have time to do all of the wheels.

Either way, yours look real good!

Nothing.

After a flawless vacation week spent driving Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway and a one day return drive from Cherokee NC to South Jersey, she gets to rest.

You have to cut the stock one piece connectors off and put standard clips on. That might have been the most time consuming...(10 min)

Nothing new otherwise....I can HEAR the speakers now (put batting in too) but they seem to run pretty high treble wise. I'm going to run them for a week and see if they need an amp. I do have the higher end infinity sound system and overall it was great...but it seemed to me the sound bar had almost nothing coming out of it.
