Today I solved a problem. The one thing I absolutely hate about my JK is putting fishing rods in it which I do a lot. I was looking for a simple solution and I found it. Picked up a cheap 20$ 3 rod holder at academy and it strapped right onto my Yakima bike rack. Rods will be higher in the air than I would like them but I can be careful of trees.

Not today but I test fitted my new Bestop quick cover. I found it to be really quick and easy to put on and off.

That's a practical solution, with a side benefit...
Use a piece of bubble gum and crushed up dollar bill on a treble hook, and go mall trolling...

Hey guys I just had a quick question and i dont want to post a whole new topic for it.

Do you guys think it would look good to put a poison spyder brawler lite bumper and bushwacker flat fenders on my jeep? its stock height with 33s. Im not sure if it would look stupid or not!

Just did the grill mod and on the good wife subject. She bought the bumper for Valentine day and Father's day will be tinted windows, 30 years and still happy.

Finally installed my Rampage frameless top. Waited on Mopar factory door surrounds forever from my dealer. It was a shitshow. Still waiting on the driver's side door surround. Oh well, here it is. It'll take a couple days in the sun to smoothe out the slight wrinkles.

Does it work without the door surrounds or do you really need them.

Make sure you get a cb antenna or a stick of some sort to put in the middle... When it rains it collects water... Mine turned into a swimming pool once and ended up all over the interior 😂

Need the door surrounds if you want a weatherproof seal around the doors.

Bought it from a guy I met on the trail last weekend. He makes the custom footman mount and uses rammounts for the rest. Now I can use Dashcommand or let the kids watch movies with no glare.

Thanks for the info I was told I didn't need them. So I've been holding off on putting mine on. Thanks again.

Is that the Ridge back Yakima rack? Did you need to use a hitch extender? I just ordered a Ridge back 2.

Swapped out the stock 14/56 coils for 18/60 that I bought on ebay for $100 plus s/h a couple weeks ago. Took 4.5 hours and did it myself. Happy with the results.

I accomplished the reverse back up camera install today. Fairly easy for the most part, but the black screen took away 6 hours of my life. I must have re-wired a total of 10 times. A simple pulling of the negative battery terminal for a few minutes was the solution

How's the difference in the ride? Any difference in cornering?

Ouch. Great job, though. I know how it is to "learn". I can take the simplest repair/mod and make it quite challenging. It's a talent that I've honed over the years.

How did you paint your d-rings orange on the front bumper? Anything tricky or just paint a side at a time?
