Was working on the Jeep then went inside to get a drill. Came back out and I had a surprise on my Jeep. Don't think it will be enough to pay for a AEV hood...

Installed new Mopar hood lock and my smittybuilt cargo net today, bought some rugged ridge mirror relocation kits but didn't like 'em.

I've got the door locks on order because we are getting tired of the doors closing on us all the time. Then some little stuff like black hinge covers, taillight covers, door sill protecters, gas cap cover, wheel locks, 14" billet antenna, black wiper cowl cover, jeep valve stem caps, Custom License plate frame with jeep cover bolts. I think maybe a CB is next but did buy a new GPS unit.
I'm hoping to have some fun, we've already gone out on Apache trails in az. on a paved road & next time will continue to the dirt section of the trip to the lakes.

I think you're doing a fantastic job of prioritizing. Sounds like you're doing quite a bit to make it suit your needs and make it your own.

That really bites that you were inside. Given the size of it, you could've prevented it from hitting your Jeep.

Inverted my sway bar while peaking the top of a massive hill climb (then disconnected it, duh). Dented my bumper. Washed it in mud. But it was worth it - some pics of the easier aspects of my day...

It's not that she doesn't notice, but instead she is hoping you don't notice the new shoes and purses that she got. Either way, forgiveness is easier to get than permission. Now when I want to build something for the jeep I don't ask, I just start tearing shit apart in the garage and tell her not to drive it for a few days.

So close! I really wanted to save up for 37s... So far in the last couple if months I have bought a top, winch, 50" lightbar, and other little things. It's really hard to save money when you own a Jeep.

The Jeep said well if he doesn't want to take me off road, I'll bring the off road to myself.

Blew up my rear Rubicon Dana 44 rear axle. Had to buy a Dynatrac Dana 60. Painful to the wallet but an upgrade I was planning and way ahead of schedule. Also stepped up to 37's for a 3 week trip to Colorado. Crap ton of snow in all the passes for July up there. Like trying to climb a mountain made out of Slupee.

I will agree with you about the sun. It does block a good bit.

Jealous of the upgrades and the trip! Hope you share lots of those with us Midwesterners without such beautiful views

Just put stock antenna back on. I had put on a 5" stubby about a month ago. Not happy with the reception. Might try the 13", have to wait and see.

I'm curious. How did you blow up the axle? Congratulations on the D60 by the way!

Don't bother. I'm about to go back to the stock antenna. I get horrible reception with the 13" antenna x.
