Every other section has this stickied so I thought I would start one. Forgive me if its in there already but I could not find it.
Anyway here's what I did.
After removing the different cover for a routine fluid change I decided to paint the cover, it needed a little touching up so I thought I would go ahead and paint it red. I already had some farm equipment paint on hand, I'm pretty sure it will hold up to any temps that might be reached.

Thanks. It in Johnstown PA. Locals call it "top of the world"
NO FRICKIN WAY!!! I'm living just outside of Johnstown, I'm not a local so I had no idea there were any trails here. I know of some going out towards Altoona but that's it. I'll be picking my jeep up on Wednesday - can't wait to meet some fellow jeepers and have some fun with her :) :iamhappy:

Don't know where you are but I have a set of 5 virtually new BFG MTs (800 miles) available. PM me with an offer if interested. I'm in the Pacific Northwest and could ship.

thx
You get the award for the best thing done today.
:punk:
Aww! Congratulations, Daddy! :thumb:
thx
You DO realize you're screwed now, right? That little girl has you wound so tight around her finger already and you don't even realize... :) :) :)
Naw, I have a 9yr old girl too. She's already claimed my jeep.
Congrats. The day I drove my daughter home from the hospital was such a great feeling. Drove about 30mph the entire way (highway). It will be happening again soon, but this time a boy. :)
thx and congrats to you too.
Congratulations.
You will always remember the cars you drive your kids home with. I have 3 and they where all brought home in different cars. I remember them all.
Congratulations and it gets easier as they get a little older. :)
This is my third also. All but the first was brought home in a jeep. The first is a S-10 on 37's.

But I have to argue with you there....it does not get easier. 9 yr old is already asking about boys. :pullinghair:

Did driver side and painted em....will do all reinforcing tomorrow and possibly side plates to protect the area in front of door...

Now this is what I wanted for the front to be doved in and minimal width for canyons and notches...I rip the front fenders off on a regular basis....
very nice :thumb: shouldn't have too much trouble with those fenders!

Damn bud. My 11 year old girl has asked me about boy friend and girlfriend but nothing specific. I'm lucky and she's a good girl with good friends who have great parents. Very fortunate. I tell her after college you will be able to do whatever you want. And I'll help you get your first jeep.

She has done the math and said that by the time she is able to drive I should update my jeep so she can get my Rubi. I laugh at her.

I've done NOTHING in weeks! Ugh!!!

Well...wait, I did change the oil yesterday...does that count?

After moving from Knoxville to Orlando, my plate has been rather full and the "Jeep slush fund" has been really tight...so that's my excuse. :)

Haha. My 4 year old grand daughter already has designs on my 2011 JKU Rubi. I'm sort of thinking by that time it'll be a full on AEV Hemi???

Today I plugged in the block heater. -40C here which is also -40F. Frigging cold. Wind chill is -45C. On the plus side the block heater is great, instant heat when I fire it up.
Stupid :censored: weather.

Bully Dog tuner for my 3.6

Tried a sand dune in 2WD with everything turned off, talk about fun!!!

Jeep is definelty faster top end, but throttle response is at times too much. Traffic jams in 1st gear is sometimes too jerky, you have to lighten your right foot.

Overall really impressed
