Not all done today:

1) New Rubicon Express 1310 front drive-shaft and yoke to replace the stock one that was spewing oil/grease on the underside of my JK.

2) Replaced rear blown/warn out U-Joint on my rear drive-shaft (also Rubicon Express), with the help of my buddy and National 4x4 Center. You haven't felt vibration in your Jeep until one of these goes bad... Anything between 70km/h and 90km/h feels like one you are riding on just your rims. The funny thing is that once I got my speed above 100km/h, the vibration went away, must be a sweet spot. The weekend before it went bad I did a 1200km ride to a wedding and this must have pushed it passed its lifetime.

3) Replaced the bushings on my front and back LCAs. The fronts were so worn out that it was causing the front end to wobble between 60-70km/h. So if you have wobble in the front, don't ignore your LCAs. We were searching and wondering if the tires were badly unbalanced and the usual suspects in "death wobble", all was good.

I acquired my JK (2008) from a dealer so I didn't have the history from the original owner, like the model/brand of my after market drive-shaft so it took some hunting to get the details worked out for replacement parts.

So happy now, my '08 rides smooth now with my 37" KM2s.

Lol. That was actually a good pick up there. I had to go back to the photos to see what u were talking about. The first pic, where I'm in uniform, is my right arm. It was taken by me, using a mirror so it is reversed. The others were taken by a friend. lol. The black tribal with skull and black Mandalorian Skull are on my left arm and the wolf with Auryn symbol/snakes is on my right. Yesterday I added this one:
I'm still not sure what the "two different sizes" refers to. If it refers to my arm tattoos, yeah they r def different sizes. If it refers to my arms themselves, they were size distorted by the mirror, camera or closeness of photo, OR they may be different sizes. The photos were taken a year apart basically. Gym going may have been suffering on one. Lol
Note to orangecrushgirl-(spelling?)...I will refrain from further off topic discussions after this. I know u will hunt us down. Haha

Now on topic! The top is coming off for an awesome cruise from MA to Center Ossipee NH for some light off roading, lake fishing and a bit if drinking too!

I have done nothing to my Jeep today. I might take the doors off later as my brother is coming and wants to roll around with them off. It's going to be a bit toasty because the temp will be over 100 again today.

However, I might buy a new Bushmaster AR 15 this morning.

As for other vehicle work, I need to take a tire off my wife's Santa Fe and get it repaired.

I want to get the relocation kit for my mirrors so i can take the doors off too. They seem pretty easy to do myself is that correct? And only 60$ even from Jeep? That seems so cheap

Leave your mirrors on your doors. Once relocated, your passenger one is useless when doors are on.

I have mirrors that attach to the top hinge. They're easy and last. I've had mine 2 years now.
