Installed a Banks CAI..... The sound at low RPM is normal, at higher RPM you can now hear the engine. There's a slight increase in the response, not much but some.

Not necessarily today, but have installed , did some tweeking and modified a system for towing it behind our motorhome. Now that it's done and has had some use, I'm thinking that this might me a good idea for other uses. For example we pulled it behind my F-150 at first for testing and some adjustment of the surge brake. Got to thinking that it would have been nice to have when we transported two vehicles and had to have a driver for both instead of saving some gas and riding together.

Removed my front and back carpet so I could wash the mud off. Hopefully I'll be able to get it reinstalled the way it should be.

Installed Olympic lightbar. Bar and mounts are fine. If you get one plan on using your own hardware cause they sent all the wrong stuff (bolts too short), mismatched bolts and mismatched and missing nuts.

Took it to the car wash to get it all shined up and this happened....

It was one of those washes where you pull into the track and put it in neutral and it pushes you through. The jeep got stuck and the cloth bands broke the tag holder in half.

Im furious.

I had to rig it up to the spare tire with zip ties til I can figure out what happens next...

Went to the Truck and Jeep show in Orlando Saturday and bought a Smittybilt 8000# X2O 8 winch and XRC bumper. Can't wait until they arrive!

Exact same thing happened to me a few months ago. It sucks and the brackets are way over priced. I don't use those kind with my jeep anymore

Unfortunately, you have to illuminate your rear tag here in tx. So this is only a temporary fix :-(

i think poison spyder and a couple other vendors have light kits that rig up to your tire carrier... and completely eliminate the tag mount on the side. i'm kind of interested in doing that myself... once i get the rear bumper and tire carrier...

HD customs has a bracket for the spare tire but the wheel hub has to have an opening

Thanks! Good thing you can't see her up close, more scuffs and nicks then I could shake a stick at! Black is a BITCH!

No lift yet...already put enough into it this year, next year I'll do the lift (probably a 2.5 or 3.5 rock krawler) and 35's

On 17's and 285/70/17's (33's) Duratracs

Installed a new Factor55 winch thimble. It cleans up that shabby looking hook, and allows you to use a D ring instead, putting the pull evenly on the D ring instead of crowding your hook with the strap loops. Very nice! JPi is a dealer for Factor55 accessories.

Saw that on FB. Sharp, wish I had a winch to justify getting one.

I can take one when I get home tonight. You remove the two bolts that hold the door strap holder on and the two nuts from the grounding wires, put the bracket over the strap holder and ratchet everything back on. Real easy and there are 3 positions to choose from.

Dropping off jeep at tint shop. I hope that 20% is dark enough, ESP hope it matches the NX top I hope to get after winter. I just hate it when tint don't match. How dark did everyone else go?
