Installed mesh grill last weekend:

and JKU springs today (went from 14F/56R to 18F/59R) which seems to have leveled it out and raised it a little, maybe ~1 inch? Installed to offset the ACE bumpers and winch on the way, these were new JKU takeoffs that I bought for $100 shipped:

Installed KC lights at the windshield mount with a plasma glow switch and the SmittyBilt Side armor/steps.

Hard work installing the side armor steps on my own, but I did it. About an hour and a half for 1 side and then about 30 mins for the other side :-) made my mistakes and learnt. I did ask the local garage how much it would be , $140 they quoted so I decided to try it myself and as hard as it was I am so glad I did it myself. Then onto the lights, brackets easy, then started on the wiring, honestly I got about a 1/4 way in and the only thought I had was" oh s*!# what have I started that I can finish,,, stopped reread all the instructions and realized the lights wiring colors were totally different to the wires on the switch, anyway same result I manged to finish and both lights work perfectly and the plasma glow switch is awesome. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

So happy I did it all myself, didn't know I had it in me, but now I do and will keep on doing..

Rough Country wanted $90 to replace lost tow hooks after installing their winch plate. Drilled 1 hole on each side and bolted in tow hooks I've had forever.

Come on Rough Country, for $150 you should include replacement tow hooks!

This is Rough Country's vacuum pump relocation bracket. It's great based on the relocation spot. However the two holes for bolting the bracket to the frame don't work if you've installed the same manufactures winch plate kit??? Made it work with some engineering ingenuity... and very pleased with its location.

Only just did it, so I will keep on eye on it -- but, so far, no change noticed whatsoever.

Starfab smart door stops

I took the plunge and installed my Starfab smart door stops.
Once the decision was made to go ahead and drill the 1 3/4" hole, the install went very well. Great inst. and everything lined up perfectly. Makes a vast improvement over the " flapping in the wind " factory doors, and in this neck of the woods wind is a fact of life.

Installed a set of used Rubi Rails I picked up on CL a couple of days ago and a set of new ACE Rock Sliders that have been sitting in my garage for a week or two on the wife's Jeep.

I don't have the Rubi Rails on mine. After seeing how well hers turned out I wish I did!
