Move what. The steering stabilizer or the plug. Iwas at jeep fest and nearly ripped the plug off. And the steering stabilizer did get ripped off on a very mild trail ride. Both were in dangerous spots.

I may be a little rougher than most on my jeep

Stabilizer! The plug I can see as a better placement, but the stabilizer I always figured it to be in an ok spot , I really haven't read up on much of it yet.

Lee what bracket did you use to flip your stabilizer? I need to do something because mine is getting banged up pretty bad.

I like the idea of moving the 7 pin as well I should probably do that just to be safe.

We got our steering stabilizer flipper (technical term) from Poly Performance. Took awhile but works. What is the 7 pin?

installed a new rear bumper from bestop. Wasn't too bad. I also did the tire carrier but it got dark before I could snap a pic.

Installed my Dynomax 17263 muffler and it sounds great. I know it will get deeper with time but huge difference so far.

Took the back doors off last night. Couldn't do the fronts since no one had the mirrors I needed. Hopefully the Pep Boys here by my office has them. If so, the fronts will be off tonight!!! Hurray for Autumn weather! 68' here this morning.

I gave it a kiss on the mirror and rubbed the spare tire and gave it my sincere apologies for having not done anything to her in a long while, she's stubborn though and hasn't forgiven me just yet

Luckily Got a fix it ticket since I havent had a ticket since 2001. UGH... Procal here I come.. I wonder if they sell it locally. On a side note, Got 20.5 mpg but perhaps that was wrong too lol

Took her for an impromptu drive up onto a median, just short of kissing a tree, on my way into work, due to a gentleman whose time was apparently more precious than mine.

I was in a left-turn-on-arrow-only lane, he was to my right in the thru-traffic lane; when the arrow came, he decided to gun it and turn left as well (thru-traffic still had red light), just out in front of me, into the lane I was turning into (very left), cutting me off and sending me on my merry way onto the median. Oh, and he didn't stop.

I might have dropped a few (hundred) F-bombs. Jeep is ok, I'm ok, except for a little soreness creeping into my neck/back.

To the assface in the black BMW this morning: while I would never seriously wish harm on anyone, I can't say that I wouldn't be a lil pleased if you somehow found yourself nakey, covered in honey, and lying on top of a fireant hill.

Took out back seat to make more room for the pooch, stuffed the soundbar with polyfill, and resumed my vigil by the mailbox waiting for my Ace rock rails to show up. Also contemplating where to mount the bottle opener.

Thanks for the stats. Looking into some more aggressive wheels/tires to handle moderate-medium heavy trailing on the weekends w/o a lift kit. Can't afford both haha. Considering the 275/70-18 bfg t/a ko on my stock Sport with 18" Sahara wheels. Like ur setup

I do know this. A friend used the driver's door loop shortly after I bought it and managed to pry the neck off his bottle, leaving more glass slivers on the floor than I was happy with, so I figured I'd go with the exterior option instead. Like the look of it anyway...

OCF Bumper delayed once again. I called the manufacturer directly this time. For some reason they can't/won't get my bumper powdercoated. I'm told this time that it should ship Friday. It'll go to 4Wheel Parts main warehouse in Cali, then shipped via inter-store transport sometime the following week. Or, so I'm told. At this point, I'm near the point of cancelling this order and going with plan B. The problem is I don't have a plan B.

Lockbox

I installed the bestop lockbox today. Pretty easy to do, just make sure you have a hex head 18MM or you could easily strip the seat bolts!! They are on pretty tight!! Got the best deal on the box from Morris 4 x 4. Now what to do, what to do!!
