Ordered a hitch and wiring. Install should take less time than deciding on the hitch.

I put on the 18 series. Its a little louder when u step on gas but not annoying. I didnt want a drone in the jeep going down the highway. I also left the factory silencer in place.

I cleaned up my skid plates and painted over the scrapes to hold off the rust. This is why I like underside armor.

Hooked up g3 228 c pontoon with a 90 hp. Sits on a tandem trailer w surge brakes. We r going to buy one and the marina let me take it for a pull for a couple hrs to let me see if my 12' would do the job. Tongue weight is around 250 lbs ( I could pick it up off the ground). Weighs in at 3200 lbs total. No problem w the 3.6, stopped on a dime with those surge brakes. Tried an emergency Stop and it did way better then I thought. Got it up to 45 and tried to get it to sway but it wouldn't. Big pot hole, no jumping or bouncing. Backed it down a ramp till my tires were in the water and pulled it back up with ease.

Both the Bestop AND the Tuffy won't fit under the 2-door seats with the fold & tumble feature.

But you can buy a locking system for the hidden compartment under your carpet in the cargo area from Tuffy...

Oh Oh. Your pretty white Jeep is gonna get real dirty real fast now!!!!! And your poor painted fender flares are gonna get murdered. It's gonna be two tone now unless you get some splash guards... The muck and rocks go straight up the sides and all over your rear fender flare.... I added the Mopar Splash guards, and it made huge difference.

No running boards and Before splash guards......

Not that getting dirty in a Jeep is a bad thing..... And it does look pretty sweet with your new rails... Just be forewarned.

I installed the Mopar 7 pin trailer wiring harness on my JKU in my driveway. Very easy install.
