Dropped it off at Carolina Truggies for install of my lift, fenders, and some other extras....I know I know I should do it myself but I don't have the space or the time. Pics coming.

Got it back from the body shop, had Bushwacker Pocket Flares painted/installed, as well as the grill in black, although it is going back because is not matte black....tomorrow is headed for lift and wheels.

I am hoping so. Alex, the owner, seems very cool and has been very honest and straight forward with me since I started bombarding him with questions! They build some sick stuff!

Nashville's 4 Wheel Parts installed a 2.5" Pro Comp lift with Bilstein 5100 shocks. I'm stoked about the finished job and way it rides on pavement,,, smooooth! Time to get it off road soon.

Alex did quite a bit of work on my D30. He is a good guy, did great work and I'll use him again for my next lift. (Rock Krawler) :-)

A few days ago, but I mounted the fire extinguishers on the Tuffy Security Deck before the first trail ride.

After reading all the different threads about it being a missile, and/or not being able to reach it when needed, this was the best option I came up with. You can't fit a 2.5lb one by the door in 2013, and this way, maybe I can tilt my chair back and grab it if all else fails.

Here is the raw video of that part, I've taken that before with much less problems, just didn't have a good line that time.

Yowza!

Got my Skidrow transmission/oil pan plate, Teraflex tailgate hinge, and Delta lug nut lights installed. The skid plate was the worst of it, but due to my own lack of tools, so I had to do some more shopping. Pretty easy install after that. The tailgate hinge was a fast job, but there is a lot of bare metal needing attention under the stock hinges (where they come off). The lights work great, but require odd trimming. The plugs/lights don't fit into a stock wheel, so I had to take the Dremel to them to shave the edges down a bit. After messing with the 3rd brake light wiring, I managed to pull the old wires out, resplice the new into the factory connector, drill out the grommet to feed the new wires through (see pictures), and get it cleaned up. About 2x as much wire as you see exposed on the outside is coiled on the inside. Tons of extra on this kit. I couldn't do a center light remount or one of the single LEDs because I have a bike rack that mounts to the spare.

By all means! With the top off, I figured I could stuff a towel over it or something so teens who walk by won't try to mess with it. It's pretty much hidden otherwise.

The clips I bought from eBay for about $13 each. Much cheaper than the roll bar options.

2 1 2 lb Spring Tension Clip Universal Fire Extinguisher Vehicle Bracket | eBay

The extinguishers were from Costco. Rated pretty good for electrical fires (I think) 10-B.

I have a 2 door so it'd be even more hidden (and accessible!) for me there. Thanks for the link.

Sure thing! It may work better for you on the passenger side for accessibility - depending on if you use your back seats or not.
