Got my new hand-crafted side mirrors from Defiant Systems today... can't wait for Spring to hurry and get here so I can take the doors off and install them!

Very nice quality construction, highly recommended!

Thanks. I was nervous when ordering it at first because I didn't know how they would look together. Now I'm glad I did. No regrets.

You and me both lol. I am the only one excited because I'm the only one with a Jeep. All my friends and families have other brands and models and are worried about the snow. I say bring it Ole Man Winter.

I would go with the chunky grips, as 10g weight savings probably not an issue!
That's cool. The diameter of the handles are 3/4".

Of course I'm kidding but these will quicker rip the body apart before warping themselves. You guys/gals should really try them out. Its only when you see what 3/4" of solid steel is in your hands will you realize how good these are.

Grabbed some steel to do side armor to avoid any more damage from laying it over on the canyons and rocks. Going to weld tubes from front to back angled a little up the length of the plates and off them an inch or 2. That way it hits the rocks before the plate does as well as grabbed some aluminum for the door skins for the smittybilt tube doors.

All this to stop this lol

Got home from night shift and was too lazy to shovel all this crap snow we have so I went and borrowed my FIL Chevy with a blade. I ended up finding a soft spot and buried the truck and hung up on the blade. Had the wife come and yank me out with the Jeep, we broke her recovery virginity! lol

Outstanding, good to know. I think that's what I'm going to do then. Thanks!

Yeah I have them here from a while ago, I use 1/4 20 sleeves and yeah they can be a PIA....
I'd weld it but if I do that then I start cutting and modifying the jeep...nutserts don't allow me to justify chopping and fab yet.

Installed the smittybilt xrc rear bumper/tire carriers yesterday and the iRack on mine. His iRack is due in today. Wish I could get pics to post from my phone.

Overall I'm pleased with them, install was easy and they're about as sturdy as it gets. Only bad things I have to say is we had to scrounge a bit due to missing hardware and they need to make sure ink is in the printer b4 printing install directions. Luckily those were online.

The iRack got the hi-lift out from under the back seat so no more listening to that clunking. But we haven't been able to locate the gas cans that fit on it yet. Gonna try the military store off base tomorrow.

Here is a pic. You have to remove one of the tabs on the side. Also took the air dam off to reach it better. Took maybe 20 mins.

Sweet! looks good!

I had to order whole new ones since my New bumper didn't have the holes for the stockers.

On a side note...Love the home made ramps. We have the same ones here at my office for the little 16' box trucks that don't reach the dock.
