Got rid of the stock hood latches and installed Drake Off Road Hood hold downs and added Rugged Ridge cowl body armor.
I'm working on installing a Bestop Supertop NX Twill soft top but that is going slowly due to the "awesome" directions they include with it and it being my first ever soft top isn't helping either.

You're gonna love your 35s...pretty much the perfect tire for the JKU, as far as I'm concerned.

Post some photos when you get em on.

Today I prepped for an off road trip tomorrow (or this) morning. Going to a local spot with a few members. Excited to put faces to names!

That's very kind of you! Wish you were closer. I live just outside of Houston. I have it most of the way done. Hopefully tomorrow it will be a warm sunny day to help loosen the top up some. Seems kind of small right now.

Enjoy your weekend!

So the mount is Poison Spider... the 50" bar is NOT the typical $1500 unit.

This DRX unit sourced in around 500 bucks... it's fed with ~100 Cree 5W leds and this is the 8deg spot version. 4800lm and it sure looks like it. Picked it up at blackboxlogistics.com. Nice guys BTW!

The switch is Plasmaglow 11010 Blue Stainless Steel LED Activator Switch (amazon)

Awesome Saved and Saved. Yeah, for someone like me who doesn't go off-roading a lot, I don't need the more expensive products.

What are your thoughts on the light output of these fogs? Are they any better or worse than the stock fogs?

I'll have to update later, I haven't turned them on yet at night. They looked a lot brighter in the garage.

I want to do the hood kit also. Was it easy to install? I found one on Tera-flex web site for $49.

I'm guessing you meant 48,000 lumens? If so, that's insanely bright... hell, that's twice as many lumens as the big brand bars!

How many amps is that thing drawing when it's on?

My sill guards and grill insert arrived yesterday. However the current 9 degree temps make me think this is not the ideal installation temperatures.

Plasmaglow switches. I had planned on using them to begin with but decided to get an sPod instead. The Plasmaglow switches do look good.
